As someone who supported the game for over a decade, completed every challenge, lived thousands of days on Interloper throughout the versions, banished the Darkwalker, completed the Wintermute story and the survival DLC in its entirety. It's about time I leave a review for the game.

Main story 7/10:
The story itself is intriguing, the many episodes quality varies in gameplay and story elements enjoyability.
Survival DLC story: 9/10:
Even more intriguing and it ties to the main story, even being mentioned in one dialogue. Some good additions in terms of gameplay also.
Trader quest 9/10:
Good story to build upon the trader and the lore of the preppers, though it does suck to lose access to a interior before one of the most important rope climb in the game.

There's also a lack of equivalent rewards for Interloper, from both the DLC and trader story.

Challenges:
Escape the Darkwalker 10/10: It's a must play for any horror enjoyer, it's a bit of a shame it is a challenge mode buried in the game as it's so well made it could easily stand on its own.
The Hunted Part One 8/10: Another great thrilling challenge but the bear spawn in new regions can be a bit iffy. Hearing it run you down as you reach your next safehouse is quite an experience.

Survival mode 10/10:
I've been a vet of Interloper for as long as I can remember, it just feels thematically correct as difficulty for the game. Wish they'd give us a special gun to find and craft for it though, maybe a "Trespassers Cane".

Overall, game's great. Atmosphere is great, gameplay's great. Story mode gameplay has a bit of jank to it, but you get used to it. They truly have improved both the survival mode and the story over the years, it's not been all perfect throughout with the choices, the timber wolves and cougar are still far from ideal. But I could still play survival mode till the end of time, base customization though buggy at times, is probably the best addition to the game overall.
