This game is a true labor of love exploring a cool "what if": the element of dark magic mixed into the historical events of Hussite raid to Silesia in 1428, playing on similar note as parts of Sapkowski's "Hussite Trilogy". The game may often be as challenging as the action adventures of the 1990s, but once you accept this, there's a charming experience waiting to be enjoyed. The story resembles these "old good days" as well: bold, a bit "over board", but only to drag player through some interesting challenges, locations and plot twists.

I had to check the walkthrough for few times, and I gladly opted for some of the accessibility options available (big respect and kudos for those!). Once I got a grip of the well balanced game mechanics, which are few but completely sufficient to provide a unique challenge in each of the thirteen chapters, I could not put it down.

The game is surprisingly full of content, and once you start seeing beyond the simplistic presentation, you will face a lot to explore and overcome in a ~20+ hours the game takes to complete. It was fun to try variety of (often dumb) things to be rewarded by a surprise achievement, and I greatly enjoyed all the mentions and citations from my favorite books and movies (you gotta be Czech to appreciate some of these :) ).

This game may not be for everyone, as it may force the player (yours truly included) to replay whole parts to save potions or get equipment, but it can be a thoroughly entertaining and rewarding experience if you accept the challenge.

Challenging and entertaining take on ruthless Cold War tank battles, presented with chilling authenticity and without the realistic hassles. Although still in Early Access, it's polished and playable, and the updates keep adding interesting features and content in steady pace. If you're into military or tactical games, go grab it and support the developers in creating something original and truly enjoyable.

It's been a while since I was both fascinated and terrified in the same time by a truly weird and catchy game. While there are many aspects which show it's a work of a very small team, it's apparently a labor of love worth checking out! The game may be short for some, and it's definitely worth checking out the reviews prior to purchase, but I don't regret this journey through a world which makes me recall Half-Life 2 and Susanna Clarke's Piranesi.

Although I do recommend the game as a result of creative effort, I have to add that from the technical standpoint, the game unfortunately suffers from bugs, e.g. player character appearing under a level after loading or missing weapons after load.

To sum it up, definitely try it, just wait for a patch. :)

I only tried few courses in Vitual-O so far (and kept failing due to the same mistakes I do in the RL orienteering), but from what I have experienced, the game perfectly captures the both the navigation procedures and the amazing state of being lost and under time pressure. :) While the environment could certainly use some love (and I sincerelly hope the future updates will bring us more authentic nature), the map & compass handling is spot on. If you're up for some challenge and your tolerance to walking simulators is high enough, you can have some amazing moments with this game, and even get some introduction to the real thing.
