A casual game of patience on a little planet know as Deiland. The game is very linear at first and stays so pretty much later in the game. Some things can be tricky or unclear, but apart from that it is a trivial game. The graphic is beautiful and there are some things to do at all time, but ultimately it gets a bit tedious. Usually you get a quest and then maybe have to craft something and can immediately turn it in. Then you will have to wait for that character to appear again to further progress. Sometimes... actually a lot of times you might get stuck since another characters quest give you the means to fulfill that of another ones quest.

There is much to enjoy like planting, gardening, fishing and fighting monsters, atleast for a couple of hours, after that it gets frustrating when you hope that the correct npc will land so you can turn in the quest and progress. I took my time and decided to finish the game 100% after getting all of the achievements. The waiting is one issue, but for all the things to do it usually feels too limited. The enemies are few, the fish are only 2 after some progress instead of one to get from the pond . While there are a bunch of recipies for cooking and brewing potions, apart from quests they dont really add much to the experience and gameplay.
Speaking of 100%, I did finish all the quests but managed to get a glitch which prevented me from unlocking bucket level 2 (3 for most things is max), I am sure getting that upgrade and its next one would have been beneficial.

For the conclusion, it is a casual and very relaxing game, but if one wants any form of challenge and more engaging gameplay that feels rewarding I would not recommend it. While linear, some things would need tutorial for instance getting wool from sheep is not clear at all. The art and concept is interesting, but for 14,99€ there are far better and more enjoyable games out there. Deiland is by no means a bad game but it could benifit a lot from some improvements.
