It was really tough to increase level constantly to clear the story. But not got leveled up instantly after 1 week for update bonus. Feeling a bit relieved as old Metal Slug in Neo Geo were short and Fun to play. This one similar and mimics but has too many details, options and features. So consumes more time and focus to play rather than simple clearing story stages. Hope they smooth game mechanics for the story campaign playing for more fun like old days. Thanks for the recent update. Also, too many sensual girls as characters. I would recommend the NEO GEO Metal Slug.

Overall CUBE LIFE: ISLAND SURVIVAL (ver. 1.8.0) game is very appealing and addictive. I enjoyed a lot playing the game more than 2 hours from start. Exploring interactive items and seeing high-quality scenes especially water and sky and pixelated objects in the open-world environment was quite fun. Especially in spare time, one can play this game for fun and time pass. Graphical game design is very high quality and immersive. The game theme design is also consistent and professional throughout. Minor adjustments can make the game more fun as used in common in a similar indie game like health icon or stamina bar icon can be used pixel animated & dynamic.
Although it is an indie game, it has very high-quality graphics. The game storyline is increasingly interesting and immersive which creates suspense to know more of it by playing the next challenges. Challenging tasks need to be solved cleverly using an interactive and dynamic environment of the stage scenario.
Especially in spare time, one can play this game for fun and time pass.
The game theme design is also consistent and aesthetically nice-looking throughout.
A bit heavy on resources due to high-quality graphics but can manage to run on medium to low settings. Continuing game through manual saving is also a good feature.
I hope autosave game feature also added in the upcoming version of the game.

For 1.8.0 version of the game, it was a remarkable indie sandbox/open-world single-player game and I hope that it will be further improved in future patched versions of your game & it will help you in reaching further heights of providing a better gaming experience.

I enjoyed playing this scary early access indie game. Dark scenes with scary music create an environment of a real psychological horror game. Although it is in early access and indie game, it has very high-quality graphics.
