Dynamic Radio 最近的评测

Recently decided to go and play through the red faction games - I'd played the first and second and some of the 3rd. The second was always one I didn't really like but after replaying recently I found I enjoyed it a lot more.

Firstly - it is no where near as good as the first - yes the first has aged and can be glitchy but it has a charm. This one goes for the arcade style game - lots of weapons, over the top etc. Unlike the first, it uses levels rather than making progress through something.

I also dislike how you get thrown right in without having a clue about anything. There's a cut scene that tries to explain what has happened since the first game after the first mission, but it feels like it's a completely separate game. Also the geo-mod seems scaled back but even in the first one there wasn't a lot you could do - if it didn't want you to go somewhere it would stop you.

I found it fun this time, trying to get all the extra hidden goals and getting the best ending - even then there's other stuff you can unlock e.g. playing different difficulties etc. Not the best game far from it, but for a bit of mindless fun it's not that bad
