Runs comfortably on high settings at about 70 fps on my mid setup, people crying about performance issues are clearly running bum setups from the early 2000s.
I didn't even notice micro transactions were in the game until I saw the reviews, upon looking into it micro transactions can all be earned without having to spend money as the currency is simply earned from chests or as a drop from enemies.

Great game so far, don't listen to the negative reviews.

One of the most intoxicating, challenging and beautiful games of the 21st century.

One of those games, like The Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2, that will repay many play-throughs in order to grasp all the intricate details of these multi-layered trips into the dreams and nightmares of the central characters. It's often a short game but doesn't feel so, and is the rare would-be blockbuster that demands close attention and would surely reward replaying.

With Muck, developer/publisher Dani not only cements their status as Steam’s most innovative game creator, but they have also created a daring genre: the surrealist heist thriller. Or, maybe he has developed the dream invasion action epic.

Your character and his team can ‘extract’ ideas and secrets from a target by entering their dreams. A process called Muck. The big challenge though is to insert a new idea. That’s when you start dealing with dreams within dreams, and the plot starts to really spiral in mind bending ways. Add all this to the gravity and physics defying nature of dreams, and you begin to imagine how Muck becomes a brilliant, twisted and devilishly complicated action thriller.

Few games can achieve the level of creativity in “Muck,” a masterwork of complexity, intelligence, and ambition. Dreams have always been an endlessly fascinating subject for games, a concept that can be explored again and again without ever being repetitive or derivative (if handled correctly). With no rules, the possibilities are immeasurable, limited only by the minds of the designers. Dani uses this to fashion an unpredictable, intense, unknown, mazy world full of spellbinding visuals and consternating twists. Anything can happen and just about everything does.

The action takes place mostly within characters' subconscious, with mind-bending visuals. Most breathtaking are the implosion of a Parisian boulevard, a runaway train careening down a Los Angeles thoroughfare and a mid-air tussle in a hotel corridor.

Fortunately, despite the half-a-dozen people tapping into a single dream, the impressive fight sequences in Escherian landscapes, the masterfully constructed differences in timeframes for each level of dreaming, and the dream-within-a-dream-within-a-dream-within-a-dream finale, Muck proves to be both largely understandable and entertaining with reasonable concentration. Pay attention – it’s definitely worth it.

If you're confused, you're not alone. Muck, like Memento, is so clever and intricately structured it may require repeat viewings.

With physics-defying, thunderous action, heart-wringing emotion and an astonishing performance from Muck, Dani delivers another true original: welcome to an undiscovered country.
