Its a game for people who smoke, or people who drink. This ♥♥♥♥ called braid, it's about this little guy in a suit and he walking around, 'aint even got no point to the game, you just walking round jumpin' on ♥♥♥♥. It look like Mario in the future, in a business suit with his hair dyed orange and a tie on and he just walking around jumping n ♥♥♥♥.

Incredible game that feels unique, engaging and doesn't overstay it's welcome

I didn't really know much about this game going in other than how much effort had been put into the cat animations and expressions, so was really just expecting to just be running around as a cat harassing the local robot population. Which to be fair you can do a lot of stuff like knocking tins of paint off of tables, clawing at rugs and generally being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

What I wasn't expecting was a short but captivating story about AI and what it means to be human or sentient, as well as some genuinely heartfelt moments and likeable robot characters.
Throughout it's brief journey Stray is cute, heartening and enjoyable. It is also tense and unsettling at points but ultimately concludes in a satisfying way.

10/10 will stop to make claw biscuits on every rug, every time.

Hard game to comment on without ruining anything, I would say avoid as much information as possible really, (even some trailers I found pretty spoilery) and play the demo on Steam to see if the game is something that will resonate with you.
The amount of detail packed into Inscryption is actually pretty impressive. There's a lot of times when I played around with a particular mechanic or card combination because it made sense conceptually, only to find that there was some easter egg or mechanic that would happen from it. The "Boss" mechanics are pretty interesting and make you think outside of the box with some of your deck designs without being too overwhelming. I'm not massively into card games, (Hearthstone is really the only other card game I'd played) but this game really scratched that itch and kept me hooked throughout.

10/10 would get stimulation again

TL;DR Deaths door is the most realistic crow simulation game I've ever played

Deaths door is a relatively short game if you're gud, might take you a little longer if you're like me. Plays very much like Hyper Light Drifter with emphasis on the boss battles in distinct areas of the map. Between which you'll fight a good variation of monsters/enemies, and solve some not so challenging puzzles, accompanied by a sombre orchestral soundtrack.

There's a charming cast of characters and a compelling story which will keep you coming back for more. The tight controls, interesting boss mechanics and fun Zelda-esque powers keeps the game fresh. I would recommend Deaths door for anyone who's played HLD, or just enjoys the many top down dodge-roll heavy rogue likes currently on Steam (although this isn't one).

I would highly recommend anyone play this with as fresh eyes as possible. With that in mind, it's a hard game to say anything about really without risking spoilers. So I'll be as vague as possible

There are a lot of things I adored in my play through of Outer Wilds and it's not really an experience I can say I've had from any other game. There're a lot of moments of solitude which make the little moments in between that you spend with other NPC's (or listening to them with your signal scope) extra special. It's not often a game can make me want to take a knee next to a campfire and roast a marshmellow (probably red dead 2 is the only other game that comes to mind).

There's a strange lack of urgency in most parts of the game which leads to quite relaxed exploring. And the ability to prepare for the parts which do require a bit of haste, means Outer Wilds avoids being frustrating. It's a game you can pick up and play for 20 minutes or so at a time and still feel like you've made some progression. Outer Wilds also does a great job of keeping track of what you've learnt and what relates to what. So you don't feel like you have to keep a collection of sticky notes or anything just to avoid having to go back to places you've already explored.

My only recommendation is that you should keep following clues in your log, don't feel like you have to complete everything on each planet before you move onto the next one. Follow some other leads, learn some of the solar systems history and you won't get stuck for long. I can only speak for my own experience, but there was a clear moment where everything clicked into place for me and I felt I was ready for the end of the game, which brought everything I had learned together in quite a meaningful and satisfactory way.

10/10 - Honestly my favourite game of 2020

Only got 2 or so hours into this so far but I think this is a great game and deserves a bit more recognition

In essence, the game is a top down space sandbox, it handles like Hotline Miami with tight controls and Instant kills but has enough upgradability to make it more forgiving

From my playtime so far I think Heat Signature really is all about using all of the weird tools and weapons at your disposal to pull off ridiculous, unlikely heists that leave you feeling like Danny Ocean. Its when you're stuck and realize that you can blast you and the hostage you were rescuing right out of the ships window only to be remotely picked up by your own lifepod safely that this game really shines. The remotely generated ships keep the game fresh without any weird bugs you tend to get with some rogue like games and the RPG elements keep a steady amount of progression to keep you trying new things. I like how big the world is and that you can just ignore the objectives if you want and fly around hijacking spaceships and killing the crew.

I'll probably update this review when I've put more hours in but wanted to put a review for anyone who was wondering whether to get it or not.

It's a game I've put a lot of hours into and I think I should write a review for:

I would strongly recommend this game for anyone who is looking to play the survival genre regardless of what skill you're at. I've played a lot of survival games and most generally feel like the effect of your decisions is too immediate: you go to the wrong place or bring the wrong equipment, which means you die. In Don't Starve you generally don't realize that you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ until much further down the line.

With some games this would be very frustrating, but in this case it's not because it's immediately apparent why you died, and the bottom line is usually lack of preparation. You didn't put your base near a reliable enough food source? You slowly die. You didn't stock enough wood or warm clothing for winter? You slowly die. You didn't anticipate your source of food migrating next season? You slowly die

With this game it quickly becomes a case of preparing as best you can for what will happen and learning what things do and don't kill you. And with the DLCs you get to do it all over again. There are a lot of repetitive tasks at the beginning of each run, but enough randomization and different goals to set that the game is consistently interesting.

9/10, one of my favourite games to go back to every now and then
