Starting out, the story was being set up a bit strangely, nothing wrong with that, but within 10 minutes I got completely bored with the chatter and extreme lack of agency in doing much of anything in this game. It's mostly a book and you get to make a choice... what, 10 times in the entire 4 chapters, half of which don't seem to matter. This is likely due to me mashing the mouse button to see something interesting, but there's just a classroom, a swimming pool, the dorms and the woods, and just... nothing happens. At least not until you get to the point where it just forces you into an erotic situation with no choice but to watch or join or something? No agency at all, just a story and some fetish stuff and not much else to it. It's in the early alpha so there's plenty of time for it to be fleshed out into something so much better. Until then, I definitely can't recommend this.

If you're after a more engaging story and/or characters, there's other choices out there. my own personal recommendation would be Angels with Scaly Wings. Unlike Second Chance, it has music and it's own style and charm.

Deep deck building can be very fun, and the different strategies and synergies can make some excellent runs, but RNG decides quite often that you'll be having a bad time as well. Still one of the most fun games I've played through repeatedly, keeps ya coming back for more.

Download GENS or a different emulator for free. I played this for 5 minutes and found it completely intolerable with terrible framerate and lag and slowdown and all of that. Not worth your money.

I didn't play for very long, but the constant fuzzy background images that give me a headache looking at them, coupled with static characters that NEVER change expressions despite changing "emotions" really take you out of the world. This was something I was very much hoping to like, but I can't get Immersed.

Between the poor visual composition (despite the well drawn but completely immobile characters) and the fact that in 45 minutes I got to make a whole 3 choices over lines and lines of dialogue, there's far less to this game than it would seem.

If you want to see the characters, look up their artwork, save your money, make up your own stories, and don't waste your time.

10 minutes of text reading and no real content aside from "click a few things". Spend that dollar on something more useful, like a Taco Bell taco or something. or a good game.
