I'm so happy they released this game on PC, I honestly think it's 100% worth full-price if you don't own a PS5. This game is so much fun to play (excluding the Screwball Stealth challenges, they're a nightmare imo), and even after beating the game, I've found a lot of fun just running around and taking different pics.

If you don't own a PS5, I would definitely recommend buying this game, despite being 4 years old, it still holds up super well!

I love racing games, and this is a good one, but that's all you get, racing, drifting and boosting. It brings nothing new to the table outside of the drifting, which I'd be lying if I didn't say it's super satisfying to pull off, but that's about the only change to an otherwise bare bones racing game with a Hot Wheels theme slapped on. There is also a track creator, and while I can see the appeal, it just wasn't interesting for me, especially considering how little you start out with.

The AI is fun to play against, but in my opinion, the jump between 'Easy' and 'Medium' is way too big, with Easy being too easy, and Medium being too hard, fortunately I did enjoy Medium difficulty for a little bit, because it was possible for me to reach first place, but it wasn't too easy to keep that place.

Overall the game is fun for the first hour or so, but it's not £40 / $50 fun with how little you get. If you like arcade / Kart racing, you might like this, but I highly suggest waiting for a sale to bring it down to a much more acceptable price, I would say something around 60% off at least, around £15 / $20, and even then I would only bring it into consideration.
