This might fix Witcher for you. It did for me. http://en.thewitcher.com/support/w2/#q20 Once I ran their registry fix and started it from the install directory the first time, I hadn't had a problem since. I wish I'd played the first one now for the lore but didn't like the combat. This one is much better. The opening movie is one of the best I've seen, too. Some smut, close your eyes :p
