Most people don't understand game basics, and the game has no skills pairing / ladder. This was a major design flaw for 10 years now. And most lesser minds don't get it, get frustrated, or use game flaws like public game stomping / randomly lucky and flaming behaviour to start pretty much anything.
Also, Steam is rotten by by the fact people can hide profiles. So anonymity enables such behaviours. Also, as simple as it looks, just open the comments for the public. People come type their ♥♥♥♥ just because they can. Easy as it looks. :)
