If you played the first Nier be sure to pick up this one. However, this game is great for anyone looking for a story not typical of your normal video game. The gameplay is a ton of fun as well, the chip system provides a way to customize it to your preference with some cool upgrades. This game is a classic already that no one should miss. There are some issues with the port as sadly square has not done much post launch, I recomend the FAR mod to fix it up. I had no problems playing it after installing that

This game has probably been the best value purchase of any game on steam, if you don't own it grab it now. Even if you do own it go grab a copy for someone else this game is the best.

An older game that sets you up as a Sauron lookalike in control of a horde of minons. Similar to Pikmin in style it is only hampered by its awkard keyboard controls.

A game that will have you running into puzzles and combat believing them impossible to accomplish but after a few tries leaves you praising the devs for their creative level design. Satsifying combat supports this with a full range of moves to not only navigate the world but take down anyone in your path. Worth playing even if not a big fan of platformers or indie games, cant wait for a sequel or more games made by these devs.

A fun romp through puzzles that are sometimes the most frustrating thing ever. The lvl editor and co-op are great as well, along with a hilarious narrator and good music.

As a fan of the first Darksiders I was really looking forward to the second one. However there are some major problems with this PC port that really ruin the experience. Freezing while in the inventory, game crashing if steam community is enabled, for some reason no sound being played during the game entirely, music or effects. Despite trying to play through it for several hours this poor port really ruined the experience. Its a shame too because behind these problems there was a game that looked to surpass the first one in its combat and dungeons. If you really can live without Darksiders get the console version, this PC one is a dud.
