I believe R.E.P.O. is a different type of "horror game" especially when played with friends as it gives a comedy touch to it. I do not like horror games and games like Phasmophobia make me scream almost all the time, but I find this game very playable with friends so that says something. If you do have an interest in buying the game, make sure to have a mic set up properly and have the game set to "open mic" as the main feature of the game is in-game voice chat where the monsters in the game can find you based on your sound but it also makes the game much more immersive as players further away will not be able to hear you. But what most of us do is to just have a voice chat on Discord or other platform and have everyone mute themselves.

LINUX INFORMATION
One additional information that I can give you is that the game is very playable on Linux, even the multiplayer! As of the date this review was written, I am using Debian 13 using Proton Experimental. I recommend to NOT have Steam installed under Snap if you are an Ubuntu user as it will crash the game when you join a lobby, but this can be fixed by going to the system settings and giving Steam permission to record audio, but not having Steam installed under Snap and just straight up the .deb file from Steam themselves will make everything much more simple, if you use Debian then I would suggest to not use the .deb but instead go to Debian wiki. I do not find myself an advanced Linux user, so if there is a better way then I will update this review.

Absolutely beautiful! Plenty of content, moddable and relaxing.

The ONLY reason I bought this DLC was to get the wankel engine, it is actually a fun DLC however it only adds 2 cars, the RX-3 and RX-7. I thought RX-8 was going to be included as well, a bit of a letdown.

One biggest issue that has been tickling my head is that the engines do not sound like a wankel at all! Hopefully they fix this in the future.

The price is a bit over-the-top for 2 cars.... It is all on you, do not bother getting this DLC if you are not into wankel engine.

This is an early review of the game and I can always change it if something happens to the game.
This game has lots of improvement over the last game, Car Mechanic Simulator 2015, more tools and so on.
But don't be so happy now! This game has lots of bugs and ridiculous performance issue! My specs are the following...

One of the most ridiculous bugs that I just found, is when you remove the oil cap sometimes the game just freezes completely and the only way to fix it is just pressing Alt+F4 so make sure that if you buy the game right now, please save frequently to avoid unnecessary rage due to the game freezing and lose all of your progress.

I'm running the game at the lowest setting without V-Sync, the reason that I give this game a positive review is only because of the feature improvement. I can also accept lower video setting as long as it is playable, however if the game requires me to lower my resolution, I would have given this game a negative review for unacceptable performance issue. I still have faith in the developer, hopefully they are able to fix the performance issue quickly but if the devs does not fix the issue for a long time I might have to change this from positive to negative review. Because I know that feel when you have a PC that meets the recommended specs but the game turns out to be laggy just like the others....

There are lots of ways to work around these bugs and issues online, but it's still the devs job to fix it, if you can accept the bugs and find ways to work around it feel free to get this game now, you know the risk. The devs are very active right now and they are currently giving lots of updates to try to fix the game.

This was actually first released on mobile (I used to play it on Android, uninstalled it because my phone overheated when I played the game). Then the PC version just came out so hey I'll give it another shot (who doesn't like free game?), the game is not that bad at all....
Just DON'T buy any sort of "Cash" in the game, it doesn't worth your money at all, aside from that the game is decent for its simplicity. The main goal of this game is simple either, you need to develop your vault, make it really big and control it.

When you're bored this game can actually fill your time up, it's repetitive however.... You'll find yourself mostly clicking on stuff like collecting power, food, etc.

PC specs can be seen on my profile, but this game isn't demanding at all.... You can run the game using a potato.

Okay okay, I have to admit that... This game is actually great!
PC specs can be seen in my profile, I can play this game on high smoothly (I can go beyond "high" but I want smooth gameplay).
There are some glitches in the game, all games do. However I believe that the developer has managed to fix the major ones, I haven't seen the disappearing faces[cbsnews3.cbsistatic.com], crashes, etc. I do still face some annoying glitches like getting stuck in an object and on a mission.

This game is not the most optimized, but I have not experienced significant fps drop which mean it is not really that bad.
The graphics is stunning, I mean it, even on "high" which is not the highest setting, I have not finished the game yet but the story is somewhat intriguing (personal opinion), mediocre. I do like the gameplay! The animation is stunning, the combat is new (you cannot chain kills everybody anymore) and the multiplayer is so fun (co-op, unlike the other series which is versus). I DO NEED to remind you that the multiplayer missions are a bit buggy, if you are unlucky you might get stuck in the level which is annoying and doing it all over again can be outrageous.

If you really want to buy this game, YOU NEED TO SEE THE MINIMUM SPECS FIRST! This game is so demanding if one of your parts does not meet the requirement the game would stutter a lot. You also need to consider about the bugs, this is not just a "small" bugs, it's pretty big and I have just written it above, getting stuck in an object is not a minor glitch, you really need to "load checkpoint" or even "restart level". Getting stuck on a mission is a pretty big glitch, it will drive you crazy!

I think this game deserves a second chance.

I do recommend this game, but there is something that you need to know about this game....
This game is not the most optimized game out there, your PC might struggle like hell.
You can enjoy this game if your PC specs meet the requirement, even so you might face FPS drop during gameplay (explosion, etc.).
This game is CPU intensive, if you experience FPS drop, there's a chance it is caused by your CPU (unless you set the graphics all the way to high then your GPU might be the case too).

This is a military simulation game, if you like games like Call of Duty (and used to it), you might not like this game however if you want to try something new then this game is worth a shot. This game has limited HUD, there is no minimap and if somebody is shooting, you will not be given a hint and you will need to find the source yourself. You will be given a compass to help you to locate yourself, and to give other people hints about the location of the enemy. Every single bullet counts, I mean 1-3 shots can kill somebody, do not spray and pray. You will not be given a hint about your location, so you need to be observant and check your surrounding.

One big problem about this game is.... There is no melee so you can't kill other players with a knife, it can be a huge turn off for some people (I am one of those people), nevertheless it is less likely that you will use melee in the game, it is most likely a gunfight.

If you want a shooter game and want to spice things up then Arma 3 could be the game for you, if you are still unsure then you can check some YouTube videos and see it for yourself. This game is hard, the control buttons are many (I highly recommend newcomers to go to the tutorial first) before going into the campaign or multiplayer.

I can play this game in Ultra settings.

Although Sid Meier's Civilization VI has been released, it doesn't stop me from playing this game.
First of all, this game is way cheaper compared to Civilization VI and you can get similar gameplay. I recommend purchasing the DLCs as well because it makes the game more complete and more "alive", the gameplay is really complex (if you are new to Civilization V) and I strongly recommend to start with tutorial or even some YouTube videos so you can get some ideas.

The game is ridiculously addictive, a wise man once said "Just one more turn!".
I'm serious.... I sleep at midnight just because of this game....

There's some issues with the game however but it can be fixed, in multiplayer, if ONE of the player left the match (disconnect or internet issue) they might have difficulty to reconnect. Make sure to save the server and disconnect, create a lobby again, load the server, and invite everybody again. The problem may be resolved, but new problem might arise (can't move), tell everybody to leave and reconnect (works for me at least).

I'm no expert when it comes to cars but this game has got my attention, I bought this game not only to have fun but to learn car parts as well. The game is really fun (seriously), especially if you buy the Performance DLC because you can modify your own car even more like swapping engines! Unfortunately there's no tutorial, at least for the control. You won't be guided what to do to fix the car, you'll be given list of parts that needs to be replaced and that's it (I even search Google Image to find the location of the part xD). If you gain enough XP there will be more challenges, like you need to find the broken parts yourself. Soon you'll get tools like OBD Scanner to help you examine broken parts faster and more easily.

One thing that is missing from this game.... Rotary engines, come on they are legends :P

The game's pretty small though, unlike game like Euro Truck Simulator 2 where you can name you company, hire staff, travel between countries. This game only lets you work inside a garage alone, so this game can be boring after you play the game for a while. Well you can test cars in a test track, buy your own personal car, and have a drag race but that's basically it. Even so, to purchase your own car, you need to get a parking lot, which require lots of XP to be able to purchase it.

You should purchase this game if you're interested in cars, because believe me, you'll be fixing cars all day long and if you're not into it you'll ditch the game right away.

The game is old, released in 2009 and even require Windows LIVE.
Some say that the game can't be played on Windows 10, somehow I can play the game with no problem (I'll give update if I can find one).

The game is all about ships and planes, in my opinion it's nicer compared to World of Warships. Sure World of Warships' got nicer graphics and such (I play that game as well and I'm having lots of fun too) but comparing it to Battlestation Pacific? Battlestation Pacific has more modes to play from campaign to standard game (skirmish). Well at least it can keep you busy for longer period of time.

There are two sides to play, Japanese and US, that's it unlike World of Warhips (Japan, US, German, Soviet, etc.). But they offer campaign for both of them so you know you'll be busy for a long time. Lots of ships and planes, and you can control both of them so you can control your fleet better (plus more fun).
