I received this as a gift and honestly I want to pass it along for others to experience. 100% (minus the time trials atm) completed, and I can genuinely say MOST of it was an absolute treat.

The OST is absolutely phenomenal, and is delightful to play alongside, as a rhythm game should be, but it still blew away my expectations.

The combat is definitely not a focus point, taking the backseat... At least until you get around to bosses, when it becomes a dance of its own, and a decently challenging one at that!

The puzzles make you utilize everything at your disposal, though a few core mechanics will always remain. Keep EVERYTHING in mind, or else some things might seem out of reach forever. There are... A few puzzles that might have been a bit too obscure, but none of which are vital to complete the game, though it would be a shame to miss out.

The writing has that bit of humor mixed in with story in a way that melds perfectly, making each conversation feel like time well spent. Each character has that bit of vibe of their own that can mix and flow effortlessly, never feeling forced (without intention) as they have their exchanges.

All in all, if you enjoy any genre of game this falls into, I can confidently say that if you have the will to persevere through the more difficult spikes, it will be a memorable experience. 10/10.
