Coming from a guy who usually hates or strongly dislikes RogueLikes, this is the most fun ive had in the genre since Risk of Rain 2, ignoring my current playtime as im sure itll grow very quickly, its the equal of Digital Crack. Please support this, the art direction is immaculate, characters befitting the world and each and every one varies nicely with playstyle, town building minigame is fun, i really cant do it justice with my words.

Bite Sized gem of a space platformer. Really enjoyed the classic independent vibe this one brought to the table, the floatiness feel fits the space theme, the enemies are simple yet varied with no overlap, every level gets more complex be it by design or by extra objective, being the kitty cat, theres a challenge here be it for long term platforming fans or new players to the genre

Id give this a hearty 9, everything can grow, but this captures the intent immaculately and does what it sets out to do, for a small price of 10 dollars youll absolutely get the bang for your buck and then some!

An insanely simple game, with a lovely amount of complexity behind it, a simple hunt your target with a horror twist and underlying story (sort of?) with lots of content already, if this wasnt published and promoted by BHVR i may have missed out on a wickedly good time, despite my low playtime, ill be staying with this and highly recommend it for the price tag its at

I've spent my whole life playing racing games, and somehow, this comes out as arguably the worst, even worse than the likes of Super Street or TD Solar Crown

-Who the hell approved the base designs? every single character is a default store asset reprinted with their "defining characteristic" as the only difference
-The Car vs Car combat, something a game themed around that should be good with, feels like a feather vs bowling ball situation, even the punchbug feels weighty when you try to crash/combat it midrace
-Cars feel the floatiest ive ever seen in a game like this, and ive played Crashday and the like, these feel awful and at times it isnt even the players fault for the fall
-Rubberbanding isnt too bad until youre closing in on the win, then random character 381 will come and bash your bumper while 3 others simultaneously pass you, its bad design


This is a bastardization of an IP, heres some options you should consider playing offline crash themed gameplay instead!
-TRAILOUT (A flatout inspired game that does so much more than this game ever will for the satisfaction meter.)

This game is amazing, genre defining and still a trip to this day, its not as good as its sequels but its still a gem right outta 2009

This review is negative due to performance, i dont know if its due to Memory Leak or the engine, but this game makes my pc sound like its about to turn into a pressure cooker in comparison to BL3, and thats saying something, once said memory leak/performance is fixed, thisll be remade as positive

Honestly, the KF ill return to every time i feel it, only a few things id change and im sure theyll improve with time played and upgrades on my end, such as the Fleshpounds health and lack of direct counters.

Theres so much more to do here for the casual player, from the Supply Pass, to the passively achieved Loadout System, to the classic but so much better Perk System, alongside new story missions you can do in game, right alongside the iconic Zynthetic Sound Team hitting the notes again, nothing like tearing Zeds up in a military base while having KF2s main menu music to accompany the slaughter.

Now with crossplay, you dont gotta rebuy the game 2 times like i did to play with friends, it also feels much easier to introduce said friends to the game, with much more forgiving mechanics and much smaller and compact install size. ive convinced 3 friends to try the franchise for the first time to good success.

The Developers have shown theyre very in touch with the community, i can safely say thisll end up being the KF Game i stick with, and id definitely say give it a shot and discount the negativity you see in the other reviews, it can only go up from where we are. and where we are is a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 on my scale.

Glad i got it on Rockstars fluke way back when, atmosphere cant and wont be matched by anything these days, aged like a fine wine id drink anyday of the week, if only we had MNC3/LA on steam to complete the collection

The level of charm this game establishes in the first 2 levels is amazing. its such an inspired by the greats game, you can feel all the platformer and boomer shooter inspiration from the first moments of the game, smooth firing mechanics, lovable castings, fun nods with references, with absolute buttery smooth gameplay thats been worked on for a delightfully long time

Best game ive played designed for friends since Phasmo, this is an immaculately made combination of Deep Rock Galactic, Helldivers 2, and Lethal Company, this is such a joyously unique experience with just enough to tell its inspiration

Good humor, amazing gunplay, great HUD, insane optimization, inspired missions and dialogue, the H.U.B is the best HUB ive seen to enjoy in a gaming experience in a long long time, and everything is earnable, not a single MTX in sight, and there probably wont be, please take my recommendation, this is a game worth nothing less than full price, which is saying a lot.
