a b-movie "resident evil with samurais" you best need a heavy portion of nostalgia to be able to really enjoy...

- maximum-recycled bullet-spongy (and cringy) bosses
- disgusting absolutely disgusting camera
- so bad its bad voice acting (jubeis mom was levels above whatever the ♥♥♥♥ we are calling happened in re1...)
- super bare bones combat system that gets repetitive and boring real real quick and had nearly 0 improvements from the first game
- 40% of the game you are running around in areas from the first game
- fun fact: you will hear the name "jubei" be said/called 3972 times during a playthrough!

im an avid fan of video games but this one had me close to quitting several times and only remembering the 30€ i paid for this schlong had me continuing...

this aged like fine milk and the remaster didnt really do it any justice. a complete remake would have made more sense.

if the nostalgia shovel isnt hitting you VERY hard on this one theres nothing for you to see here...

this should have been a dlc but thats the only thing im complaining about...

a very welcoming positive surprise: this captures the essence of the verhoeven movie in a way i never expected possible...

if this game teaches you anything about batman, its that his crime fightin would be 5000% slower if it werent for guys like lucius or alfred...

this being free is criminal....

hiding the actual ending of a game behind a paywall is an incredibly scummy move that fits EA perfectly...
