First 12hrs game was pretty fun.

But non of the systems or side quests mattered, and a lot of the story later on became boring filler or dragged out, until the final part.

Some Characters, Graphics, and music are good at times, but thats pretty much it.

Game is finally getting updates to core systems and game performance to make it worth playing still.

However, the Gunplay and World is still very dated in today's standards, and its much less realistic feeling than some UE5 games. The animations are very static and clunky feeling compared to some base-building games like Rust, so definitely misses out on the satisfaction of the game feeling fluid and responsive.

That being said, there are no base-building zombie games that really compare to 7DTD, and it scratches an itch than no other games can atm. Worth buying from on a key site or on sale.
