Straightforward and simple game with 1-5h of gameplay. It's free and apparently was made by group of students in 2 months time. The game has potential and I would love to see a more fleshed out, complex and longer version sometime later. But as it is now - still good free option to kill hour or two of time

The dev team for this game is amazing and it really shows how much hard work and dedication they put in it - within first month after release they manage to create and release first brand new, original and amazing dlc for the game from scratch while simultaneously trying to fix, patch and rebalance main game...still getting there will fixing, patching and rebalancing but hey look at this dlc!

Great game BUT - too expensive for €20. I'd recommend skipping it for now and picking it up when it's on sale. I wouldn't say that the game is worth more than €10 on release as 100% completion of the game took ~5-6h and there is no replayability.

Regardless I loved the idea of the game where you're the monster instead of a victim. The gameplay feels smooth and the story/progression,while not being too complicated is still nice.

I would warn however that game should have puzzle tag, since a lot of instances require you to work around small puzzles in terms of utilizing different approaches, while you are the monster that occasionally ravages through eating and killing everything in the way, more often game will require you to slow down, analyze the area and use different approach than come in..uuh..mouths chewing?

Furthermore I feel like game needs some kind of map, since if you will be looking to completing "secrets" for additional buffs or for the sake of completion, you will be required to backtrack after you have gained necessary powers, and maps will make you lost.

One of the best games I've played recently.

Puzzles in game are not that difficult, it takes a bit time and observation to figure out how to proceed which is a good thing as many developers make puzles hard by making things such way only they follow or understand, so while challenging, nothing hinders you from enjoying the game. Puzzles are also compleated one after another, and usually contained in specific areas, so that you do not have to run around whole map each time, and when you do, you are already familiar with it.

Story is robably what makes this game so good, more you play, more you get sucked in the story and it will make you keep going forward to unravel the mystery...making conclusion very worth your while.

Art and Music is second best or on the same level as story, it is amazing on it's own and fits so well with the game.

Some cons:

While game is amazing, it is a little short when bought for its full price, $20 is just a bit too expencive. I would gladly pay full price now that I compleated this masterpiece, but at the same time I can see how price can be too steep, so my suggestion would be to get this game when it's on at least 50% off.

I started playing the game about 2 months ago, and I keep playing it only because I enjoy the community I'm with.

The idea of the game is very good, gameplay is very grindy but you need to know what you are signing up to. There are no mobs to kill, no dungeons, quests or bosses, and everything is gained through players. As such it's impossible to play the game alone unless you're satisfied with eating roots for the rest of the game.

Now why the negative rewiev - while idea of the game is amazing, and while game could be very enjoyable, developers are constantly adding more nails to the coffin:
-When promoting the game it was promised that there would be up to 10k people on the map. In reality, server can barely hold 2-3k and then you can expect crashes.
-Furthermore, servers are very laggy, you cannot expect to have any major siege or pvp events, game cannot handle it.
-instead of focusing of fixing existing issues, developers split playerbase further by adding new servers, their solution to laggy pvp was - "go play a new server where there will be less lag"
-Game that you already have to pay for, furthermore offers you premium subscription, that can help new player a lot, but it is too overpriced.

To sum it up - it's one of the Early Access game that may never see full release, developers will try to grab as much money as they can before killing off the game. And it's a real shame.

I would not advise you to invest in it at this stage and wait to see if it gets any better.

When a 5m tall demon is rushing at you he may be confused why are you happily rush at him, that's because with all exits closed you know the demon has nowhere to run.

A very good turn-based strategy game.

You will start by choosing you civilization, each one of them comes with different civ bonus, unique unit and unique building/improvement or second unique unit. By choosing different research options, expanding your borders, making you city grow, recruiting an army and balancing between different aspects to keep you civilization secure and happy, you will lead your civilizations through many eras to victory.

The AI in the game could be better, while it may help you in the beginning and even will seem to be your ally, they can start hating you because you have too big or too small army, they will yell at your warmongering even if you are fighting again a common foe, they will settle their cities near you and expect you to move since it`s "their territory". While you should start playing with AI to learn about the game, it`s strongly recommended to play with other people since game can become boring an predictable after some time.

You should also buy complete edition of the game since G&K and BNW dlcs change gameplay a lot in a better way - you will be able to participate in world congress, create trade routes, found religions and much more.
