Honestly a much more fun and interesting game that gets credit for. The game-play and customization are very deep almost to the point of inaccessible except for the fact the game allows you to turn off restrictions if need be. The difficulty sliders are probably the best in any game I've ever played, allowing you to control so many factors you can make this the most difficult game of DnD you ever played or literally the most brain dead easy Rpg in existence.

Still an amazing game even with the release of fallout 4 and especially 76!

Worth the purchase

Incredibly fun game, while a little repetitive can still give great enjoyment not to mention you can earn real world currency from other players which is always a plus!

I will say I really enjoy this game but I can't recommend it. With convulted crafting and shop system, and an alienating matchmaking system makes it difficult to play.

Better item system then Zelda 2, More interesting weapon then Castlevania, and a theme in line with Megaman. Shovel Knight is an awesome 2 button retrogame. While retro gets thrown around a lot or the best game never made on the nes, yes while the animation and the some of the colors isn't 100% accurate it is very very close as well as the game can be played with an usb Nes controller if you want, while any controller can work just fine (havn't played with a keyboard and mouse) the controls are fun,precise, and amazing.

Pros:

Amazing art and sound design
Funny story played straight
Interesting game mechanics and reuse of standbys in a positive way.
Forgiving loot system as well as quit system.


Cons:
A little difficult for newer players.

For a score it would have to be 9.5/10 While it's not perfect because of some of the difficulty curve and the fact the WiiU and 3DS version has a better item management system which seems like a bad reasons to lower the score, but the game is still amazing and only minor gripes hold this game back from being considered a perfect game, but it sure is by far the best platformer in the last 5 years.

An amazing fighting game with a unique style. Looks great with an amazing drawn look, while they aren't modest they are far more dressed then girls in mortal kombat and street fighter lol. The gameplay is easy enough to grasp and a robust tutorial to assist in playing makes it even better. And with confirmed dlc characters that will be given for free to owners for a limited time, shows dedication to their customers.

The game by itself plays very well. While it is a single player game and the story is a little low by itself the narrative comes more from your experience. Fighting off zombies, hiding and avoiding them. While it would have been nice to see some human enemies, the game plays very well and well worth the price.
