A very good extraction shooter to play either solo, in a duo or trio with your friends or with randoms. Easy to pickup and a large skill ceiling to try and master.

Gun-play is solid, with weapons feeling weighty and slow for the time period depicted (except for the Mosin Avtomat). Each bullet fired should be taken into consideration, as reloading is often slow and costly. The balance is also in check, with shotguns being the kings of close range, rifles taking up to 2 shots to kill from medium / far distance and pistols being the middle ground. There are even bows and crossbows for players who prefer that style of play.

To back up the gun-play there are a range of perks / specializations you can gather with each successful extraction of a match, such as fanning to increase your slow fire-rate of pistols.

Environmental atmosphere is excellent, showing an early depiction of Louisiana's bayous infested and overrun with a plague of dangerous creatures. Weather and time of day change with every match, sometimes you'll be fighting in a forest fire, in the unforgiving rain, rarely at the dead of night but mostly it will be in the middle of a afternoon / summer.

The developers also are pretty committed to staying in touch with the community and announcing planned changes and updates in streams they host, and also host events quite often.

A game where teamwork is a primary focus.

You and a group of 4 other players must prepare and bring the necessary equipment for each mission situation, relying on each other to ensure the task is done safely and efficiently with minimal collateral to the civilians in the area.
