This has an awesome storyline... the story takes place in future Moscow after nuclear bombs destroyed the surface. The air is unbreathable, and it is very dangerous outside so the people live in underground metro stations. Each station is pretty much its own city, and some tunnels are infested with monsters, communists, or Nazis.
The story is about a young man named Artyom, and his home station is attacked by "the Dark ones." Throughout the game, you are in a long journey to where you can destroy the dark ones and save your home station.
I had a lot of fun with this game. It had nonstop action, it is creepy, and you are never safe. One unique thing about this game is that military grade ammo is your currency. But you have standard ammo that is made after the apocolypse that is not as powerful or as accurate as the military grade rounds.

I suggest this game and i would buy a future metro game.
