Best turn-based game for the last 2-3 years, that has some good mechanics to it, we got these mechanics in other games one by one, in this, they pushed everything in this game and made them work very nicely overall. Graphics are good, game runs smoothly, so far i only got 1 crash in 9 hours. The story is interesting, the characters are nicely written, and the enemies have a lot of variety and different moves. We have different weapons, you can level them up, with different elements, passive skills that can be upgraded or you can have multiple at the same time, a lot of active skills, you can make a lot of interesting builds , we even got some skins , hair, costumes that you can find in the world, the music is top notch and overall everything is good in the game, still didn't find anything that i hate or at least i think it's bad , so if you want some good Turn Based game that has everything you expect from one, this is the one you want.

Let's do a new edit of this, and still we are in the negative.
The last update was something that showed how priority is in this game.They changed weapon balance all over the place while the game has game breaking bugs, crash problems for months now, and guns that need a fix because they don't work, and fps dropping lower and lower with every patch, but we got a big update, or the devs said it will be big, and the only thing it was is LONG.... a long list of things no one cared about where changed and nothing that was important fixed while making the game even less fun than was before. All the patches do one thing, patch out the fun more and more.
And let's not talk about the PSN thing, that was the cherry on the top for me at least, and even without that my review will remain negative and the game uninstalled, i will come back after some months if i see any change that make sense... But if the only fixes and patches we get are more warbonds and weekly weapon balance changes that slaps 50+ - % stat changes on weapons, 50% less ammo... and such making the game all over the place every 2week, i will never install it back.

Well if you are a player who didn't play Dead Space, this is a good time to start, this is the perfect remake for it, and if you are someone who played the original and you think it's not worth your time do play this again, all i can say you are wrong.
This remake is not just the old game, it's like an entire new game, the ship feels way bigger, visuals are way better, 0 gravity is finally fixed and fun.
They made an entire game, fixed things that where horrible in it and made it better, made the entire ship to feel like you are on a ship, no loading screens, with way more rooms to explore inside and outside.
The sound design is way way better than in the original, it's entirely different and better, make you feel more immersed.
Gameplay is almost the same like the original, but i think there was no reason to change what works.
Story is almost the same but expanded in a good way.
Overall this is a 10/10 game or remake even without finishing it yet, i can recommend to anyone who loves horror games and even those who are new to the genre, and the fact you get Dead Space 2 to when you buy this, it's a steal for what you pay.

Well i wanted to love this, but my 30min playtime was in the graphics settings trying to run this thing without watching a slideshow, and it doesn't matter what i do, i just go down to 10FPS from 150-60 every corner turn or cinematic, i just get my refund and come back when they fix it, or get's a discount, unplayable for the moment.

When i tough the story will pick up and gets more interesting, i saw one thing, Epilouge... and the game ended, everything else is a downgrade from the first one, even the story is worse, Map design the most important thing in a game like this is horrible and not fun at all, night time with the zombies is a joke compared to the first game, perks are totally useless, the movement is worse than the first game, if you come for the story, don't even start this game, it's boring, it's short, and has the worst ending i saw in a video game in recent years, the last boss fight is a joke.

It's the same version the Epic store has, the price is still outrageous( at least i can get it at the platform i want), but Square lately is very out of touch, they want full price for a 2+year old game, and they didn't patch it still, has the same problems , without any fixes for this release. And let's not talk about how they didn't give out any announcements or dates when it hits steam, and now a lot of people, even people who i know bought it on Epic because it was at a discount and now they are fuming because some days after the game is magically is on steam ... , i'm getting more and more disappointed in what Sqare does lately. The game is still good, but it has parts where it still shutters the same way it did 2 years ago... i don't know how lazy you need to be to not fix a problem everyone knows about, but how i see the only thing Square knows is how to milk money out of people for the same thing multiple times every year, they got the PS exclusive deal money, than got it again with the DLC on the PS5, than comes the Epic exclusive deal with the 80Euro price tag, and now on steam the same thing 1+year after the Epic release... so we have a game that is 2year+ old and still has the same price it has the first day it come out, and has the same problems to without any patches or fixes, Good Job Square.I recommend if you have the money and you don't care about the fixes they didn't do, but in my opinion after this much time, it's not worth the price they want for it, even with the discount that ends today...

Well let's see, i bought the game 1day ago, i played the game 0Minutes, and i already have 3.1hours of game-time, I start the game, the first thing you will see is a new launcher, so you need to download the game with that , and it keeps pushing up your game-time on steam, so your refund chance is gone before you even started the game, well my internet is very good, so even thought i downloaded the game in 20min or less, i still got 3hours of game-time without playing, the 2nd you will need to face is log in... the game looks like can't synchronize steam with their own launcher and doesn't know you bought the game, so it will not log in, and can't enter the game, than you go and look at the customer support, first you try the ridiculous things they will say on their site to try, pushing your imaginary game-time even higher, and nothing will work, than if you have the patience like me, you will go to my.games and talk with support, you write down your problem and get an answer in 2 hours, than you will send some data over to them, and will wait more than 10hours and you will get no response, and you still didn't play the game, now after 1day, i don't know if i ever be able to even start playing, customer support in this game is very bad, and the launcher is just terrible, i hope when i can log in finally the game is good at least.

I would love to give this game a positive review... But there are even ads in the game... WTF, i paid 60$ and you have the face to put ADS in a single player game, remove that and you get my full review when i finish the game, until than, this review will remain negative, there are even more dubious things with the DLC-s.... A bit out of their minds with those. Otherwise the game is very fun, graphics are good, the world looks nice, gameplay and combat is ok so far, all i wanted in a next gen Tales game and i get one, but because the greed NAMCO shows here, a bit destroyed the magic. Oh, and the skill lock to certain costumes is the most insane thing i ever saw in a game, are you insane NAMCO? I have no idea what was the idea behind that, but you need to remove that insanity from your game....

It's what it looks, an anime style game, that has dark souls elements, but it's not dark souls at all.
Character customization is very good, the art style is anime in every way possible, witch is a good thing.
The game runs smoth, there are some framerate issues , but very minor things in specific locations.
No microtransactions, you get the full package, without any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
The story so far is OK, nothing special but on Ok story.
Combat sometimes feels a bit slow and clunky but you have a lot of skills to compansate, you can build very specific builds and do some crazy dmg if you combine your skills good.
The multiplayer works without problems, even with a friend, you can connect very easy to any game, or get help if you want.
Overal i think it's worth the price, you can put in some good hours, and you get decent combat, an OK story, a character customization that is very good, and you can make some good skill combinations if you pun in the time to reaserch them.

God game, optimized, mods for those who want pvp, and those who want to play relaxed in PVE.
