This is a simple version of my thoughts and first playthrough.

Me: Has been depressed recently irl
Me: Decides to look for a nice cute anime style game.
Me: Finds DDLC
Me: Doesn't read the focking desc of the game and assumes it'll be adorable and funny
Me: Makes a terrible mistake and doesn't realize it
Me: As I usualy do, I peek at the game files just to see whats there. Doesn't seem to be anything unusual.
Me: Starts game for the first time and sees cute Anime girls and hears cute musics. AWWW!
Me: Starts new game and plays through it, feeling my depression melt away! (Natsuki is BAE)
Me: Is feeling bummed cause Sayori is Sad and distancing herself from me
Me:Tries to seduce Natsuki and her cupcakes while trying to aslo helping Sayori with her depression
Me:Is feeling good about things. Ima get the girl and save my BFF
Monika: Says some ♥♥♥♥ about "leaving her hanging"
Me: ... I don't like the sounds of that
Me: No, it's all good. She'll just be asleep as usual
Game: Nope
Game: F*ck you
Game: Sayori has hanged herself, and there ain't SH*T you can do about it.
Me: Wide eyed I start thinking about wtf just happened and how this game won't help me be happy.
Me: Wait...Monika did say soemthing about me leaving her hanging...That f*cking c*nt!
Me: No, no...it was just the devs making a joke, even if it is a f*cked up one.
Me: Noticed the background of Sayori's death scene.
Me: ... "traceback.txt"? "I saw that file in the game folder!"
Me: *opens traceback.txt and reads*
Me: Wtf...
Me: Alright, this sh*t ain't right but I need to keep playing to see what happens next!
Me: Loads game again
Game: F*ck you. Sayori is gone now. See her sprite on the main menu? Let me just corupt that
Game: Also f*ck you. let me just corrupt the new game button as well
Me: *clicks NG anyways*
Game: *starts as normal but anytime Sayori is mentioned her name is just gibberish*
Me:...K then.
Game: *SPAZZESOUTANDRESETSDELETEINGSAYORIFROMEXSISTANCE*
Me: wtf no. I needs mah bff
Me: F*ck, I gotta keep going
Me: plays the game as before but goes after Yuri this time
Game: LEt me JuST F*cK yoU OVEr aGaiN
Game: *Yuri "falls madly in love with me"
Me:....Awkward. You a crazy b*tch, but still cute
Game: *Yuri stabs herself in the heart after I tell her I love her as well*
Me: WHAT? NO! WHY THO>
Game: Forces me to spend 10 minutes scrolling through gibberesh text while watching the light fade from Yuris eyes and the blood dry on her knife and on the floor

Me: ...
Me: ...
Game: MONIKA IS ACTUALLY AWARE THAT THIS IS ALL A GAME AND HAS BEEN TRYING TO GET YOU TO HATE THE OTHER GIRLS AND FAILED SO SHE MADE THEM KTS SO SHE CAN HAVE YOU ALL FOR HERSELF!

Me: ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥ i'm done. These damn images are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ even for an anime style game.

p.s. As far as I could tell Natsuki never dies, just gets deleted by Monika near the end of the game.

The worst part is...after seeing all the depression and death, I feel better and am no longer depressed. Like, 100% I feel fine now. lol fml wtf is wrong with me.

Edit1: I discovered if you restart the game fully and set your name as Monika, Sayori freaks out at the start and then all the .chr files (all 4 of them) are deleted instantly and you have to fully reset again lol

TL;DR - GAME IS NOT CUTE! DON'T BELEIVE IT! But Natsuki is adorable and I want one for myself.

The only game filled with female characters I don't wanna bang, (minus ying) but is still extemely fun!

Think Overwatch with a more TF2 like design, but is also it's own game.

And a snake guy that heals people and throws his snake at the enemy. I take back the 8.6 / 10

Pros: there are a lot of things. Those things are Cool. Some are odd. Some are Gross. All are fun!

Cons: Everytime you die, you feel bad and cry in a corner.

At first glance most might think, " Wow, this looks terrible". But I can say from personal experience that this game is Extremely AWSOME! I thought it was going to be bad but I tried it anyways and well.......It's one of my most played games now!
And it was FREE! So evenif you don't like it, it's not like you wasted money on it!
