[1:1] In the beginning when NEGEV created the heavens and the earth,
[1:2] the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from NEGEV swept over the face of the waters.
[1:3] Then NEGEV said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
[1:4] And NEGEV saw that the light was good; and NEGEV separated the light from the darkness.
[1:5] NEGEV called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
[1:6] And NEGEV said, "Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."
