I had been following this game for a while so when it appeared in the spring sale I decided to pick it up. I had just under 5 hours in the game and it has been 5 hours of frustration. you can't make money quick enough to get decent upgrades, almost every other customer tries running off without paying and then turns into mike tyson when you chase them, one of them even broke my brand new baseball bat because I had to hit them that many times.

you can buy security to mitigate this but I wasn't making enough money to pay the security upkeep cost.

the Energy/Hunger/Tiredness stats are buggy and inconsistent, especially after loading a save. there have been days where I woke up at the start of the day, full on all 3 stats and exited the game to go to bed or whatever, when I reload the save my energy and tiredness were nearly empty and I'm unable to sleep to regain them so all I can do is go to the cafe which will invariably end up with me passing out through running out of energy and losing money anyway. these stats can be turned off in the settings so they don't affect anything but I shouldn't have to do that.

All in all an extremely frustrating 5 hours spent in the game and hoping that Steam will issue the refund that i've asked for. Maybe i'll give the game another look in another 6 months or so and see if things have improved but I can't recommend this game in it's current state.

literally discvovered the demo a few days before the game released and loved it so much I set my alarm for the release of the game and bought it straight away! haven't got too far into the full game at present but really enjoying it so far. doing night runs can get really intense, more than a few times i've run round a corner and just managed to duck out of sight before a police officer spots me! 420/10!

first discovered this game back at school when a friend lent it to me. I spent many, many hours at a friends house playing this and I don't know about them but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Having just finished playing this HD Remake it brought back so many good memories. If you have ever played the original (or any of the GK games for that matter) I would recommend revisiting this in the remake. If you've never played any of the GK games and you're interested in point and click puzzle adventure games, I DEFINITELY recommend giving this a look-see.

amazing rogue-like game, consistently re-playable with each run being completely different, you will NEVER get the same run twice.
