A negative review doesn't do this game justice. I have very mixed feelings about this game. Lots of positive, lots of negative. As the game stands however, I think that this game is impossible for free to play players to have an enjoyable experience. I am not suggesting that the game should be completely free and everyone should have everything. There is too much good content for that. However, the only way to play with the more fun, higher tier ships is to invest $150+. This includes premium and all of the credits needed to play at that rank.

I personally disagree with other negative reviews claiming that submarines and aircraft carriers ruin the game. I think they provide a bit of spice and difference to the game that keeps it from being a simple battleship, cruiser, destroyer match rinse and repeat every game.

The gameplay is quite fun, with fun, coordinated gun battles and quick, repetitive action along with team strategy being the key points of this game. However, playing at higher tiers is impossible due to the raw grindy-ness of it. I'd expect at least 100 or more matches in tier 8 or simply throwing money at a game in order to research and purchase a single ship, hours (or dollars) that I and many other casual players are not willing to invest. I have not reached tier 9 or 10 and can't begin to imagine the grindng that I might experience there, should I ever get there

This could be fixed by, for example, making a reasonable priced permanent premium option which will improve the experience of any player. Also by removing the ever so slight pay to win-ness of exterior flags and camouflages. I'm not saying that exteriors give a significant edge, just that the lot of them make money making and experience earning significantly easier. Make them more consistent to earn somehow, say for example, selecting a type of exterior to earn after winning a match or getting a certain amount of damage done.

I wish I could leave a better review of this game, and I hope that I will be able to soon.

This is a beautiful game with intense plot and story driven arcs.

An absolutely amazing and fun game with an amazing story line that left my heart crushed. Amazing game. Very good job. I absolutely need more of this amazing content.
