Whoa, whats up guys. I just ran across this thread while reminiscing, apparently some of you have done the same. I reinstalled Q3 a few months ago and been playing on the CROM freeze server, name [PID] or [PID] YeTi. Hopefully we can get a game going some time. Frag ya later!

Nice to see the servers are back up. How has the activity been so far? Also, if you guys remember, in the DayenTech forums, I managed a thread that had pictures of everyone since it was a tight community. I found those pictures as well as a lot of pictures from the LAN party we had in Michigan. I zipped it all up. If the players appear yellow when frozen, you need to enable "cl_allowdownload 1" from the console and reconnect.

If you guys have any other suggestions for server additions please feel free to let me know what you would like to see!

I will be adding a few UT2004 and Tron 2.0 servers in the near future.


On a side note... if you could tell me what you guys use to use for putting the servers on a webpage (so people can connect through the website). Also, if there was a better way you may have found to download the custom maps models etc. while connecting to the servers... THAT would be a huge help!

Fraginstein helped me with all the files needed to get things going. And I did manage to get a few servers online and am working on getting the website back up as well.
I have the 60, 40, & 41 servers up and running 24/7 now for the most part. There may be brief times where I take them offline, but only if I don't see anyone in them (which I don't see being a problem). Anyway I made a dedicated vmware ESXI 6.5 server. I am running 2012r2 x64 here at home. It has more speed and power than I ever had back in the day. The servers are at 96.75.63.49:27960, 27940, 27941. I am working on a 27942 CTF and 27943 custom map server too.

Lagrik, sorry I forgot to reply to you. I had played a little bit of quake champions when it came out, but not lately. I have been all over the place with what I play. I seem to collect more games than I have time to play anymore, and have not purchased QC on steam as of yet. Probably will though.

on top of that , in case you havent heard, id has got rid of certain affinity and has taken over DOOM multiplayer development!.big changes coming this months, full weapons, custom servers, although dedicated servers are not on the list,getting an anticheat in (which is keeping me away from MP right now. most my hours are single player, STILL havent found all secrets! wtf? Anyway, good news all around here!!

You know, the New upcoming DOOM multiplayer looks and plays like quake MP and btw, it'll have a freezetag gameplay (new multiplayer demo on youtube as of yesterday, doesnt show the freezetag tho)...just sayin'

I have a server config but I have lost a couple settings over time. Rail jump mainly... I was planning on setting up a server again soon too.

hey are you available? i have a big favor to ask you.. i live stream on twitch with a fairly large following and i want them to experience freezedt from quake 3.. i cannot find any server configs with the settings used on the servers.
