Before you start this game, you should definitely play Metro 2033 and Last Light. Both those games are good, really good, but Metro Exodus is Masterpiece. It is definitely one of the best games I have ever played. You won't spend 70+ hours in this game (it's not rpg), but it is definitely worth buying and you will most probably play it more that once.

Pros:
- Awesome audiovisuals (definitely worth playing with ray tracing). Great soundtrack.
- Story is great, you spend a lot of time with the crew, which is new in metro series (in the first two games you change your companions in like every mission). You feel like you are part of the crew.
- No major bugs, crashes, fps drops (there is one major fps issue in desert city, but you will be there like 5 mins and then it's ok, playing on rtx 3060ti)
Cons
- few minor bugs
- one badly optimalized location

I definitely recommend this game (and 2033 + Last Light) for everybody who is thinking about buying this game.

After all these years, this game is still a broken mess.

- full of cheaters
- still broken hitboxes, after 5 years of dealing with that
- broken mm
- broken rank system
- 64 tick servers

It is obvious that Valve cares only about the money and does not give a damn about the community.

Edit 28th of September 2023 (day after the CS2 update).
- a lot of stuttering on deathmatch - was also in beta version
- a lot of content from CS:GO not included (dangerzone, flying scoutsman, wargames, wingman maps etc.)
- awful gameplay (gun sprays, weird hit detection etc.) - was also in beta version
- 64 tick servers

I hope that this game will be updated as soon as possible, otherwise it's not playable.
