Well while this might be a walking sim it definitely is one of the better ones, psychedelic visuals, fun references, good music, loads of secrets and a free one to boot. Give this one a shot!

While I have not yet played the main game this ties into as a little standalone this is great, a collection of small minigames that fit the time period and some additional surprises that build the intrigue of what it will be about. Definitely great as a little freebie.

Blender takes a while to learn initially, however once you get into it, it's an incredible tool at a price point (FREE) that is impossible to beat. And since it's all open source, there are so many user-made addons that can customize and improve your experience to your own liking.
Take the time, look up the tutorials, learn to use Blender and you won't regret it.

This game is cute, colorful, adorable, funny, wholesome and simply a joy. Give this lil gator a try.

REALLY enjoying this game, like Doom/Duke Nukem in the middle ages with a large focus on melee combat.
Speaking of combat, while it is simple it's pretty good. You can block attacks with shields, you can do a timed block which reduces wear on your shield and a well timed attack will "parry" your enemy which stuns them temporarily. Also a good selection of weapons and magic to use.
Visually, level design and gameplay wise it does exactly what it sets out to be, feeling like a mid 90s game as if it was made with today's tech. Tons of secrets on each map, so gory it flips from gruesome into hilarious and hard mode does mean HARD!

Definitely give the demo a try if you are interested in these kind of games. And even on full price it is just $12/€10 so well worth the time/money ratio and enjoyment.

Infra is... a DIFFERENT kind of game.
For many it would seem too much like a walking simulator, however its main focus is actually puzzles. Specifically environmental puzzles where you have to find the solution either by items around you or manipulating machines and devices. And in that a heavy focus is on repairing things that are broken.
What sets it off from most other games is that here nobody is working directly against you, nobody on your way is trying to stop or kill you. All the dangers and trials you face have been put in place simply by the crumbling and decaying INFRAstructure of the city.
And that is just the “surface level” game, as you go through it, find documents and long forgotten areas the plot goes way deeper.
Additionally the game features quite a range of emotions. Mark’s personality is a bit dry and flat but he’s by no means without humor or emotions. You run into situations that are funny, heartwarming, frightening or even outright terrifying.

I give this game a wholehearted recommendation, it will definitely not be for everyone but if you can stomach a bit of footwork to get around I’d say give it a try.

A good FPS with neat time manipulation mechanics, a bit on the shorter side but not too short to feel unsatisfying.

This game is simply put beautiful. The backgrounds and levels are wonderfully designed, it has some nice humor and all in all it simply has an enchanting atmosphere about it. What really captures it as well is the voice actor for Marvin, really sounding like an enthusiastic young boy having fun in the snow without ever sounding grating. And while it is rather short it has just the right length to make you feel satisfied without the game seeming like it overstays its welcome.

I'd greatly advice to keep it on your wish list.

Did you like X-Files... did you like Twin Peaks... then this game is perfect, less horror than more a mystery-thriller that succeeds not just in atmosphere but also in humor.

Just like the Special Edition of the first Monkey Island this is a must have to fans of the classics. Not only can you play the enhanced version but also, with the press of a single button, the original version.
Only small word of criticism is possibly the new inventory system but after a bit of getting used to it works.
