Never mind the playtime listed here, I've invested atleast 3 hours into this game but it only recorded a fraction of that.

TLR's battle system is new in the series (as you can also command individual squads, rather than just single protags), but not completely innovative. Its also too needlessly complicated, as if SEnix was trying to crowbar Tabletop wargame rules into an FF game. It'll take you some time to get a hang of it, and even then, you still won't have a complete grasp of what the hell you're even doing. Still, it has its charms. Combat, once you figure out how the frig it works, is as fun as Final Fantasy RPG combat can be.

As for the characters.....most of them are generic and tolerable as far as JRPGs go...but GODS help you once you control the main protag "Rush Sykes". I'm not blowing anything out of proportion here. Rush is GODSAWFULLY and unberably annoying. He's your typical upbeat protag found in your typical JRPG, he just sounds and acts annoying. He's so horrible as a protagonist that he is THE SINGLE reason I refused to touch this game after playing for 3 hours. He is simply that bad.

Overall, I don't recommand, simply because of Rush ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sykes.

Opinionated opinions time:

==The Heist==
Contrary to what these most of the downvoters say here (which I'm going to guess gits who have no sense of direction), this op is pretty decent...although long (if you're aiming to get everything on OVK, expect to spend atleast 30-40 minutes), this results intense gunplay, on par with Hoxton Breakout. Granted, the level is a bit confusing at first, but it isn't as bad as people say. I've managed to learn it in two playthroughs.

Basically, the heist follows that you have to find C4 in one of the many storage rooms in the facility, then use a forklift to plant them under the vault to exose them. Then, play sorta-pyrotechnics by timing the explosions of the concert with the C4 going off to mask the noise. Then, use cutters to cut the bottom of the vault and get the cash inside. Then extract it either using garbage chutes if you're going stealth, or a chopper if loud.

If you're wondering, yes, somehow Alesso's concert is so loud that it masks the miniature warzone between 4 clowns and the Washington PD (which should really be renamed to an army by now) happening just outside the concert grounds.

Also, you need human players here. Unless you're only playing Normal, trying this on harder difficulties with the AI is next to impossible.

I've never tried this is stealth, so I can't comment on that phase (and also because I personally think PD2's stealth mechanics are horrible).

==The Mateba==
First off, I refuse to call this glorious piece of machinery by its retarded in-game name. The Mateba Autorevolver is a straight-up upgrade over the Bronco .44 in most regards. It deals 95 damage by default (20 more than the .44) and can still be made as greatly concealable with mods. As an added plus, you can now add laser sights to it and it looks infinitely better than the Bronco. It also has less visual recoil, so its easier to pull off follow-up shots.

On the downside, the Mateba cannot use scopes, so its iron sights all the way (although it isn't too bad. The sights are pretty usable as it is).

==Meele kits==
They're....alright? They're all high knockback/low damage weapons, so unless you're a mastermind who excells in forcing cops to cuff themselves, nothing here really stands out.

Ohh, but you do now get a nightstick. BEAT THE CELLULITE OUT OF COPS.

==Mask kits==
Its a matter of taste, but for the masks, they're kinda meh, except for the Boombox. The Materials are pretty good though, if you're into futuristic styles.

==Overall==
Personally, I like The Alesso Heist, it makes for great gunplay and starts to be fun once you know the ins and outs of the map, just bring friends. And the Mateba is pretty neat. Is it worth the $7 pricetag? Kinda-maybe-sorta. Is it worth getting on a sale? Definitely.

Nutshell raitings:

==Jiro==

Jiro's...a mixed bag. On one hand, he's a Yakuza, easily outclassing Dragan and Dallas on the badass grandpa category. On the other hand....his voice is hilarious, but annoying. Its high-pitched and Jiro knows next-to-no English, so literally all of his quotes and commands are in Japanese.

Overall, Jiro will strike you as either entertaining or annoying, or a mix of both. So unlike Sokol, he may not be for everyone.

==Micro-Uzi==
The MU is basically a slightly less stable but more concealable version of the M11 (Jacket's Piece), easily attaining max concealment, even with a silencer, and it comes with its own set of custom silencers that can be pretty handy for Ghosts with Silent Killer and The Professional. If you're not a Ghost, the MU functions well enough as a close-range bullet hose. Its more powerful and has more ammo than the M10, so it does have its uses, although not much for general combat. Take it either as a CQB weapon or for flavor, basically.

Of course, the downside is that the MU cannot take in sight units and uses pistol gadget mods. Now, you're only going to be shooting this thing as close-range (any farther and you might aswell throw rocks at your target), the sights aren't really that big of an issue (heck, just mount a laser on it and you're good to go).

==Katana==
The most powerful meele weapon in the game (Or now as powerful the Great Sword in the Chivalry DLC), in both quick and charged attacks, and swings quite rapidly, so you can lay down a lot of hurt in any situation. This thing is also more powerful than most of the firearms found in the game, replacing your need to even need a gun outside of a pistol. Knockback is weak, but you're killing everything but Special Units in two slashes tops. Knockback isn't an issue.

10/10 would Zandatsu everyone. Stack Dragan's Infiltrator deck for the lifesteal effects and you're literally cutting-and-taking from your enemies.

==Yakuza Deck==
PAIN. THIS IS WHY YOU FIGHT.

The Yakuza deck is basically a berzerker-ish deck, where you perform better when your health is lower. When your health is 25% or lower (Raised to 50% with the end-tier unlock), you regen armor 60% faster overall and you also move 20% faster.

It has its uses for players, mainly for dodge-stacking fighters, but why would you get this when you could be Zandatsuing people using Dragan's Infiltrator deck?

==Overall==
If you're not really a colossal weeaboo like me who only got it for the Katana (although the Katana itself is a pretty neat buy), its not really a "must have". Other DLCs might interest you (heck, the Chivalry DLC's better if you're looking for close combat weapons or the Ninja DLC has more variety in both guns and sharp sticks). On the other hand, if you'd like to have a few laughs and Zandatsu every cop and mobster in DC, this might be the DLC kit for you.

Plague Inc is a particularly simplistic game that revolves around you evovling a plague into a microscopic avatar of death. The main objective is basically to kill the world before the world finishes finding a cure for you kill you off.

What seems like a fairly straightforward game is made complicated and frustrating by the fact that the game's longevity is padded out using grinding. You only get to work with bacteria and nothing else at the start, so you can't find a playstyle to suit your preference (unlike the original flash game this was based on) at the start of the game. Then to unlock other plagues, you have to finish the game at normal and above, then do it again for the next one, and again, and again, and again.

Overall, don't buy. The fact that I had to cheat, just to bypass hours of highly repetitive grinding does not make for a satisfying experience.

I really do wanna recommend this. I was waiting for a some kind of legit sequel to Postal 2.

I'm running a PC capable of running most modern games and Postal 2: PL is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unstable for some reason. I've never run into any of these issues with the original POSTAL 2 game, so this is definitely linked to the Paradise Lost Expansion.

On my first attempt to launch after downloading, the game wouldn't launch. Maybe something wrong with my PC so I restarted. Ok, after the first restart, the game launched, but kept hanging when trying to start an actual game. Twice.

So I restarted my PC again and it now loaded without problems. The game actually played, but lagged so badly in window mode (the way I used to play the original game), so I had to dumb down the graphical settings (For a game that's a decade old, I shouldn't need to do this but whatever.). With that out of the way, I tried gameplay. Still lagging, but tolerable.

A few minutes in and I got killed while exploring (by my own molotov, no less), so reloaded my quick save. Quick save kept crashing when the game tries to load up. Probably a glitched or corrupted save so I retried the autosave, which works. Go to new area and game attempts to autosave and crashed.

After that, I gave up, this is way too much of a hassle. Unless they fix the stability of this expansion, I can't recommend this. Its too unstable to enjoy in my experience.

Despite all the hate coming from people, F3AR is enjoyable in its own right. Granted, gameplay was streamlined too much compared to the sequels that it feels too much like Cowadoodee (but not completely).

For one, medkits are gone and regenerating health is the new heals BUT unlike COD, regenerating health can bite you in the ass also as enemies do like to punish you hard (as in if they're not understrength, they WILL push towards you while trying to regen health). So no medkit abuse to get out of a fight where you're guaranteed dead.

Gunplay is a bit generic, but still enjoyable. You do have a destructible cover system that allows you to shoot from side to side, allowing for limited tactical gameplay. Its not original, but workable enough. The martial arts that the first game had and the second game downplayed, are now gone, however, which is a huge damn shame, because ♥♥♥♥ knives, I wanna punch and kick every person I can find like John Woo from hell.

There's also a unique feature in F3AR in that you can play as the pointman's sociopathic brother: Paxton Fettel. On his own, he can only throw out telekinetic bolts and levitate thiungs and can't use guns. He can, however, posses certain enemy troops for a limited amount of time, allowing you to have your meat puppet wreak havoc on the enemy lines before doing it again. He can also make people's heads explode like in Scanners. If you can find a friend to play Co-Op with, the prospect is quite good.

The atmosphere (after the first level) has to be one of the best features of the game. You do feel like in an apocalyptic wasteland after a psychic/nuclear disaster. It's not "depressingly beautiful" or "adrenalin-pumping beautiful" but just creepy. The more you progress, the more you see how horrifying Fairport has gone down under. People are crazy. Cannibalistic crazy. And the locations you venture through will reveal how high the level of crazy went into this place.

As for difficulty, F3AR does have it. ATC Black Ops and the Replica troops are tough that they usually take a few hits to take down, have a kiiiinda decent set of tactics. Though, the AI does kinda shift from Competent to Call of Duty at times, but most of the time, they remain competent and will give you a run for your money. Cannibal AI is not that far from your everyday zombies from L4D and the likes, but they will try sneak attacks as much as possible.

As for multiplayer. Its pretty much dead. Unless you have friends. Its dead.

Overall, F3AR might be a bit shifty with its price of $10, but is a definite buy if its on sale. It'll give you some decent enjoyment for its price.

I'm going to be straight up and say that STALKER: SoC isn't the most polished of the series. Movement's a bit silly and stiff and guns feel a bit awkward to shoot and use sometimes. There are also some glitches in the game that never went away since the start.

But damn it all to hell if this wasn't the most atmospheric post-apocalyptic games ever. Additionally, its kind of that unpolished nature that really makes it the best of the trilogy. It has that "old game" feel you never get anywhere else. Plus, SoC has the best mod available, so if you ever get tired of the same old same old, try the numerous variety of mods offered by the community that largely changes gameplay (I.E: Oblivion Lost).

All in all, if you wanna start the STALKER experience, SoC's the best one.

Its like a scaled-down version of Battlefield, only much more fun, doesn't have that sour EA aftertaste, and actually requires tactics compared to most of the traditional MP shooters out there. It also has PvE that you can play with other people, so there's a bit of variety to be had. The cheatingly accurate AI (who is guaranteed to kill you in less than 3 shots the moment he sights you down) will give you a run for your money; so staying in strategic cover and taking accurate shots is pretty much a requirement.

Its not a heavily realistic shooter like ARMA or the pre-Vegas Rainbow Six games, but does add a lot of other factors that makes shooting a gun a lot more complex than a simple point-and-shoot deal like in CS or CoD. Much like the former games mentioned, there is no health counter; all it takes to kill you is 1-2 shots to the body and no amount of kevlar can help you survive a clean headshot. Body armor helps, but they're not completely reliable. You have no ammo counter, just a count of how many mags you got for one weapon, so you have to get a feel for your weapon to know how many are left in the magazine (Though it kinda doesn't help that the game doesn't have any stats for guns in-game). Knives don't help you run faster, be smart with your loadout and carry light gear to be fast or carry heavy gear to be well prepared. Its warfare as realistic and fun as it can be.

Each class does get their own set of guns (which is disappointingly limited), but workable and you can still customize your gun to an extent to fit your playstyle. Mods also aren't given out like candy. You have limited supplies for mods so tooling up your gun is more of a tactical choice than a tacticool one. Guns also sound and feel pretty solid that you'll have fun shooting them at the enemy.

Overall, not bad at all to play if you're looking for an affordable breath of fresh air in the saturated FPS market. Think of it as an infantry-only ARMA 2, but more action-ish.

EDIT: If anyone can see this, this game is dead. There hasn't been an update since October 2015 and the staff have pretty much stopped posting any kind of update for this game since that time. The game is still suffering heavily from glitches and weapon imbalances and Ubisoft is not going to correct that ever. Do not bother to play or download anymore, you will only find disappointment and lag..OHH GOD THE LAG.

Now, don't mind my meager 21 hour playtime mark, I've had over 1000 hours invested into this game since I've been playing this game since early Open Beta back in 2012 and here's why you should play GR:P. Ohh yeah, and don't mind the metacritic score, that was back in 2012 GR:P was still Ghost Recon: Online, the Open Beta product. We had a -vaslty- different game back then, nowhere near as frustrating as this one:

-Do you love macro-transaction gaming? (And I say this because unless you're buying the useless $5 starting kits, GR:P is about as cheap as a lobster dinner in a 5-star resturant....I should know)

-Do you love grinding literally hundreds of hours into the game to buy, even the most basic of starter gears because Ubisoft runs on a tier-unlock system that forces you to buy each item for FOR EACH CLASS, rather than a leveling system (This means that if you didn't want to buy that T2 shotgun or sniper rifle because you wanted the T3 one instead...WELL TOO BAD! YOU HAVE TO BUY T2 BEFORE YOU GET TO T3! YOU DON'T LIKE THE GUN YOU SAY? WELL TOO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BAD.)?
--Ohh, but you -can- sort of kinda skip tiers by buying the special edition variants of weapons (which won't unlock a tier, but you sort-of kinda bypassed the tier system...kinda). Don't try getting it with in-game cash tho, because most of them would require you to grind for weeks, unless you have nothing better to do than play GR:P for all your living days. Its waaaaaay more convenient to buy Ghost Coins (premium currency) for all your tier-skipping needs. Ohhh yeah, and most of the really useful ones start at around $15ish dollars. Hope your wallet's body is ready.

-Do you love dysfunctional matchmaking that no longer works once you get out of the beginner que because Ubisoft has refused to properly fix matchmaking for over two years?

-Do you love illogically balanced weapons? (This goes double for the recon class)

-Do you love Call of Duty's MP? And I say this because as of the recent Phantom Accelerator patch, every semblance of "tactical gameplay" in GR:P has been thrown out the window in favor of your typical Run-and-Gun shenanigans like on CoD....BUT IN THIRD PERSON!

-Do you love an in-game shop system that basically says: Pay up or GTFO (And unfortunatly for me, I didn't heed the "GTFO part")

-Do you love a non-existent clan vs clan system? Because that system has still yet to be fully implemented since last October.....2012? Ohh, and this also gave birth to the usual 5-star general PuB-stomping FT that you will usually encounter right when you get outside the beginner's que.

Well if you can love any of this, then GR:P IS FOR YOU! Otherwise, srsly, don't bother. Its fun for a few hours at the current system, but then you start to realize how asenine everything is as you get deeper.
