Easily a worthy entry to the mainline franchise. The story was great (ESPECIALLY by RE standards lmfao) and the immense tension of the survival horror sections coupled with the Run-n-Gun style Leon sections activated a level of dopamine in my brain this franchise had not coaxed up in a long time. Easily a 9/10, both long-time fans and newbies alike will love this as both a new entry or a jumping-on point to get lost in the wonderful rabbit hole that is the RE franchise. Thanks Capcom

If you somehow end up coming to a demented enough thought process to end up purchasing Black Ops 7 over this brilliant return to form, respectfully suck the greasy pit of my gooch region.

If you're even remotely a fan of zombie movies or media as a whole, this game is going to be the best and worst thing to happen to you. It's an absolute love letter to fans of the original Romero films all while adding it's own flavor of in-game lore and expansive world design. Be prepared for the mother of all learning curves however, as you are going to die numerous times. I'd highly recommend this game to anybody looking for a truly authentic zombie apocalypse simulator because this truly is a cut above the rest in almost every way. Not only that, you can further personalize your experience through the litany of sandbox options and the millions of mods waiting for you on the workshop. Always, and I mean ALWAYS, be prepared to engage in concise planning for whatever your end of the world survival plan may be. Because this isn't about survival, THIS IS HOW YOU DIED.

Zombies is a blast until the game realizes you have a chance of leveling up too fast after round 30, multiplayer's a blast until the game realizes you have a chance of leveling up too fast after pub stomping and cliques you into a team with the collective reaction time of an elderly Tortoise, or by dynamically scaling your damage and hit registration down; or as they refer to it, "...an issue that could result in erroneous visual blood effects when damage was not actually dealt while shooting at enemies in all modes." All seriousness, not a half-bad game but to say it's getting a little blatant at this point would be beating a horse that's already been a carcass for a good few years now.
