This is such a beautifully crafted game, you can really tell the developers put their all into making this!

The music is great, the UI and theme feel great, and the gameplay is good - it all fits perfectly together!

I'm curious what this game has in store for me and to see where this game studio goes in the future!

Developers appear to have broken mode support - perhaps intentionally

I would not purchase this game's DLC if you want more custom avatars as it is unclear what path forward the developers will take

Great return to form after over a decade (less than that, if you include the mobile games) of radio silence for the mainstream Tokyo Xtreme Racer franchise!

This an early access review, but so far, the key points of the game, such as progression, gameplay, visuals, and so on, are great - really reminds me of the days when arcade machines were more prevalent!

The only issue with the game I've seen so far is performance - with an RTX 4080 and a Ryzen 7 5800X, I'm seeing (with native resolution, no frame generation or upscaling) a stable 60FPS at 3440x1440 resolution for Ultra settings. This is alot better than other UE5 titles I have seen come to early access, but I suspect things such as lighting could be further optimized, as just turning down global illumination from ultra to high saw me sitting around 80-90FPS - ideally, I would love to see a stable 120FPS from this game, it is definitely feasible with some more fine-tuning I bet.

I'd say this is well worth it for $30, especially if the rumored multi-player mode does become a thing! Looking forward to updating my review when the game comes out of early access and to see what Genki has in store for the future.

This is the game that made me realize I love story-telling games - This game has such a captivating and interesting story, I didn't even finish it yet and I can already say I enjoyed it more than 99% of the games I've played this year

I've been eyeing this game for a while now with the ads I've seen for it online, well worth the asking price they want!

Stop reading reviews and go play this underrated game!

This game really makes you feel like a Jaguar owner

Game developers are explicitly against any kind of modding, regardless of whether or not that modding is in an online or offline environment. Simply mentioning modding on their discord community is enough to get you banned in-game if you have your steam account linked via discord (see https://i.redd.it/i2s64l0plotb1.png)

This kind of 20th century thinking is disgraceful, especially when so many indie games are born from mods of other games in the first place.

EULA also suggests developers can "request" you to delete their game off of your computer retroactively after having already paid for it in full which is just as laughable as warranty void if removed stickers.

This in addition with the recent sexual harassment allegations is a instant "yeah that'll be a no from me dawg"
