Simply an amazing game, hits a good sweet spot for classic horror games along with a very deep and emotional story line that can be hard to follow but also made me replay the game immediately. I really appreciate some of the mechanics and puzzles that had a very unique feel to them and it's nice to be able to choose between difficulties and inventory modes for a more easy or hardcore experience.
This game deserves all the praise it gets.

Fully deserves the 99% positive reviews. This game is great.
Very cozy experience even if a little short. You should really take your time to explore everything the game has to offer. I was surprised to see so many things to do.

kind of like deep rock galactic deep dives but you are in space and there's more focus on coop

They somehow managed to put more Outer Wilds inside Outer Wilds. This works perfect as an expansion, it gives a bit more background on what happened in the base game and at the same time is fully separate and optional.

Definitely recommend exploring after playing through the base game. Never loose hope when you get stuck and instead try different approaches. Just like the base game you will want to play this as blindly as possible without looking up anything. Just like the base game it feels incredibly satisfying to find certain pieces of information and suddenly everything makes sense.

i never knew retro resolution scale and retro animation framerate were things i needed in my life. it feels like an old N64 game but plays extremely smoothly with gameplay that just leaves you wanting more.
it really is a shame that it's so short but definitely worth it for the price.
