Not a good idle game. No passive money income - gotta click the petals to get money. Or sell the cats. Even if I left the game running the cats got like no xp to lvl on their own. Felt like a long haul idle game where you would get really into it maybe 72 hours in lmao
Over all not the game I was expecting and didn't enjoy.

This game was dog crap

The story was good but the constant backtracking made it very boring at times, and a little frustrating.

I wanna write a real review but I'm so annoyed by the running kick you apart guy lmao like that's cool he runs faster than your base sprinting speed and then you get cut scened nice

So far the only thing I would like to see fixed for the full release is: When watching the memories for it to be slowed down. Hardly any time to read (Especially if you're reading out loud with a friend).

The combat is fun, similar to Ender Lilies but now your main abilities have multiple versions of moves which is cool. The map now shows pick ups and is grayed out until you finish the area. More character interactions instead of Boss encounter>Defeat boss>dialog>purify. Now there's actual conversation between them.

MILI. MY. BELOVED. I was so happy to hear MIli did the music once more. Beautiful as always.

Can't wait for full release.

This is definitely my favorite Frictional game. The story is great, the voice acting , sound effects, the atmosphere. And gosh was I scared the first few hours being trapped in a bunker with a "stalker".
Interesting mechanics with the run reloading. But made it feel more real.

Overall I highly recommend this game if you enjoy that not typical linear game style.

The only complaint I have with this game is there aren't as many spirits in the town at night like the previous two. Felt even more isolated and empty. Which given the right time is creepy and atmospheric but.... Ya know.

I'm someone who watched the anime over a decade ago, I've began playing the "sound" novel to get a bigger picture of what actually happens in Hinamizawa.
The anime adaptation was pretty spot on, but they couldn't cram a lot of important conversations and inner dialog like in the visual novel.
But reading this made it far more impactful in my opinion.

If you enjoy visual novels, or reading in general I highly suggest giving this a go. There are lots of cute moments with friends but also thrilling mysteries behind your Hinamizawa friend group.


If you watched the anime first, PLEASE read this. You won't regret it.

While the story is good, the game play is just so awful. Not a fun game in the slightest.
