I've been playing through the browser rather than through Steam so my time played is incorrect. At the time of this review I've been playing a little more than 2 weeks. That makes me a very new player, that said here is my review:

Negative reviewers are often mad that they had to wait hours for things to happen. If you want instant gratification this may not be the game for you. Instead this is a game of long term planning and empire building. If you like supply chains, logistics and optimization problems this game is great. It is a game of numbers and speadsheets, but it can also be a game of cooperative ventures with other players if you want it to be. You can play solo, build stuff, sell to the market, and buy stuff you need. You can optimize against market needs or trade between markets to make a profit. And you can join a corporation, play with friends, build interrelated supply chains and plan your next base 10 different ways before actually building anything.

There are many options to profit.

I'm enjoying this as much as the other OMD games and it is a fair bit better than the most recent one, unchained I think it was. Orcs must die.
