Sadly, Gunz 2 does not capture half the fun of the first one. The game revamps the graphics and characters while keeping, or trying to keep the "old" style of the game. The problem is that weapon styles and types are locked to specific characters, which you only get one of free. In addition to this, the dash system feels like it was gutted, as the cool looking multidashes and parkor tricks of the first Gunz the duel are missing or cut off at the knees.

The only way I can describe this from initial impressions is Dark Souls meets BlackThorne, Shadow of the Beast or Altered Beast from the old 16 bit era. The gameplay is fun, challenging and downright hilarious! Definitely a throwback to the old days!

There is simply no other game out there for PC like Dark Souls... buy it! PLAY IT!!!!..

And die a lot... I need your souls damnit!

Seriously, Dark Souls is one of the best games out there. I've invested over 300 hours into it between PS3 when it first came out and the Steam version

Five minutes into this I was having flashbacks to the old Fallout and Bauldur's Gate classics, along with a healthy dose of SNES and Genesis Shadowrun. They captured the Pen and Paper world perfectly and even have some great references thrown in for fans of the older games and books! BUY THIS GAME!
