If you're looking for the magic of the original, this ain't it chief.

Silksong is a competent action game when it wants to be. It has some of the best boss fights in any game I've ever played (eclipsing Hollow Knight in that regard), a plethora of interesting player/combat mechanics and more content than it has any right to include in a $20 game. And it's all for absolutely nothing.

End game spoilers: I have never felt more disrespected as a player, and it's clear Team Cherry got bored and filled the ending with unfun bosses and mob spam after spending too much time remaking the entire world for no reason.

In what world is 4 sequential mob rushes of novel mobs fun or interesting gameplay? Why the hell are the lost lace hitboxes so incredibly broken, and where the hell is she hiding her vacuum that pulls you in to every attack? Why am I only allowed to see her for the first phase of the fight? Why is she CONSTANTLY hiding in her own void attacks and sucking me into them instead of fighting me?

Why do we spend 20+ hours of the game saving the world and never seeing it saved? I made a point to nearly 100% the game before finally delving into the ending and I have never been more disappointed. Save yourself the heartbreak and just replay Hollow Knight.

Update: Latest Nvidia driver helped somewhat, but still crashing

Currently unplayable - can't make it more than a few minutes without triggering an Unreal "GPU Crash dump Triggered" crash
