What a marvelous game. TW:WH is already excellent, and the sequel brings along a host of awesome changes and new content. Being able to play across the whole map in Mortal Empires is brilliant, and showcases the variety of armies.

This game has immense replayability, and really encourages trying again if you fail. Some of my most satisfying moments have come from finally winning a battle after a half dozen attempts, knowing that each time I was a bit closer.

Warband is a marvelous game on its own, and gets better with mods. It can be janky, broken, weird, glitchy, and sometimes require you to dig into files, but it's worth it in the end. It's a mix of Total War and something like Star Wars: Battlefront. Prophesy of Pendor is a great mod, but I keep coming back to Warsword: Conquest.
