I've recently bought it, tested out every weapon, shield, ability, and talent i could within reason. The final boss is just the worst, that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is just way outta line, especially since i had very few issues with any previous bosses (Though i have yet to kill allot of the heroics). The weapons are lacking, and majority of them don't have the variety of apearance let alone enough different move sets to warrant swapping your weapons outside of the bows.

Abilities are much more varied, but unfortunately, only in comparrison to their respective weapons, since there's three per weapons type. But that means if you use a weapon, you get those skills and outside of maybe using two different weapons for their ability sets, you're stuck with the maximum of three still, and some abilities will be very... Clunky... Not to mention you move awkwardly slow, i've heard it's better for controller users, but it's on pc, so mouse and keyboard shouldn't be any slower. Dunno how to explain it, it's like the framerate is garbage, but only solely localised around the player and the enemies move normal speed for the most part, worse than it sounds since the invulnerability frames from dodging last half a century (except when you REALLY need it to). All in all, gameplay is a passable attempt. Back to abilities... The clunkiness.

For example, Death Watch is a full high damage screen wipe ability you get pretty late on, and has some stupidly high requirements, super op, can wipe out even the highest health enemies so long as all the things you want dead are on screen, but even against weaker bosses like the owl king seems to not do any damage, even though it does more than the other two scythe abilities, which actually shred bosses, even though deathwatch takes 30 inteligence and 20 Finesse, which at minimum is 28 whole levels purely dedicated to Inteligence which i might add isn't used for anything else for an Acolyte class or scythe user. Leading to me just being confused about why such a hard to use and arguably rarely usable ability is so high in what it demands of you.

Most bosses, heroics and even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chests are all DPS checks, so yeah, vitality, endurance and whatever your primary attack stat is all you'll end up going for.

Music is bland and mostly forgettable, though does generally fit to the game, not much to say there.

Story is actually quite good, though i do wish there was less direct ways to explore it, definitely think it's worth experiencing that first hand.

Though it is an unpolished and pretty unvaried game, that seems to be more focused on mimicing Darksouls than anything else, without much more than it's story to try and set it apart from the rest of it's kin. I do recomend giving it a look if you find it on special and want an enjoyable story and a few clever bits of dialogue from your character's boss.
Worth it for the $14 i got it for, but since it's only $5 cheaper than Dead Cells, if you want actual gameplay along with some quirky humour and forboding story, might as well pay a bit more for another game rather than buy this at full price.

All in all this is a solid game, allot to experiment with.
To keep this simple i'll do a short Pro/con list then go into some depth about how the pros balance out some of the cons.

Pros:
- More customization that you can shake a stick at
- Lots of fun learning what works and what doesn't
- Solid Multiplayer
- Getting parts or cubits is fairly simple
- You can sell your designs

Cons:
- New parts are super expensive
- Some parts aren't available to recycle regardless of if you want them
- Sometimes other players or even bots will have weapons that can crush you no problem
- The premium is almost rubbed in your face
- Melee is a bit strange and it needs some work (They should maybe add some limb parts for movable melee parts)

As you can see the cons are short and easily balance our by the pros of the game. Cubits are hard to come by at first, but as you get the hang of designing ships it gets easier, either through death match rewards or through selling your designs. Designing your bots is super fun and really rewarding (Personally i use a modified version of the base flying bot i call the Dust Runner). You can mix some of the mobility parts to provide back up wheels if your legs get shot out or just some skids to keep flying a bit easier if you crash into something. Balancing weight on your bot is important and makes you feel smart for working out how to do things and weapons can either be mixed to swap out when the time is right or kept the same one for specialisation and extra firing rate while one cannon or laser is recharging. As for melee, as i said, it's kind of weird and i've not seen anyone bother with it, apart from one dude who kept ramming players in his bipedal bot, he died allot.

I definitely recomend this game for a bit of fun or for flat out competitive play, and it's still in early access so there's allot of stuff that could happen in the future. If it's not your thing, it might tickle a friends' fancy and it's definitely worthy of attention.

It's quite good. Though, it lacks a few things, and can be burnt up quite quickly. There's not too much in terms of weapon choices and dragons nor customization, looking at the same few dragons for so long kills the mood pretty quick. Honestly i do look forward to seeing this get big, but there's allot of work ahead of the devs before this gets overly big.

I do recomend it, and while it's missing some stuff and needs some work, it connects to matches quickly and it's good for a quick match to kill time while waiting for a friend or partner to get ready to go out or go to school or whatever. And honestly it's completely free, no microtransactions at all to be seen. So give it a go, but don't expect it to be the quality of bigger companies, it's a free game, not Black Ops 3. It'll get better though and playing with friends will make it more fun, it's definitely worth the two gigabites it took up on my laptop.

I hope the devs make this go allot further, though just an opinion of a player, it'd be nice to customise the dragons and weapons a bit more. Even if it's just the colours.
