I was already through that, I had that, I had the salvage, I went to the archives! I went to cryo archives. I had it all, and I looked at it and said: 'This is a bigger jail than I just got out of.'
I don't want to take my time going to run, I got a WSTR and a drinkable cheeseburger and ten or fifteen vandals! What the hell I wanna go off into – and go run for? Run for what, credits? I got all the credits in the world!
I'm the rook, man! I run the dire marsh, guy! I decide whose does what, and where they do it at! What am I, gonna run around and act like I'm some free kit somewhere, for somebody else's credits? I make the credits, man, I roll the EBs, the game is mine! I deal the cards!

Not playable anymore. I enjoyed this game at launch, but now that I came back to it, it automatically crashes on startup. I have tried various solutions online and suspect that it just won't run on today's hardware.

5 days later: I have managed to get it to work by downloading a config file online, which is still a bizzare and unsafe solution.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 review: it's very stalker

Some small bugs and annoyances aside, this is easily my favourite game of 2024. I am so glad to be back to the Zone.

I think it's a very fairly priced DLC for what it is - other games would charge you something like £15.

I think there's a bit of confusion regarding it not being playable in single-player, which is wrong, as it's playable in the practice mode which has most of the same functionality as commander mode, minus the perma-death. It's understandable that people are frustrated though, hopefully the devs add this functionality - it shouldn't be difficult at all. Otherwise, the modders will do it.

The DLC itself - the new weapons are fun, the pistol carbine is surprisingly effective due to its low recoil, but the new .300 steals the show for me. I don't care much about the cosmetics, but the new helmet looks cool.

The maps range from good to great. Narcos and Dorms are easily up there with my favourites, and Lawmaker is a bit bland, but not bad at all. Honestly, I expected it to be the other way around, so I'm pleasantly surprised.

Repetitive and obnoxious zoomer humour.

I love democracy.

This game has the perfect gameplay loop. "Let me do this one thing and quit... okay let me do this one thing and quit..."

I saw someone describe this as "pokemon on crack" - this game IS the crack

truly the dark souls of the soy type game....

She's perfect the way she is.
