So buggy it managed to crash my entire computer.

If only people knew this was F2P now as it only needs Source SDK/TF2 to play.......

Seriously this is one of the best games nobody has ever played.

Actually a fairly decent game despite the clunky UI. Reminds me of the Star Trek Armada series. Has a fair amount of potential but does need some work. You don't have to really babysit your units in combat which is a good thing and the game itself is rather easy to pick up and play. Devs are really open to feedback as well which is always a good sign.

However for the current price? I could not recommend it, but if it is on sale at a lower price then I definitely recommend giving it a go.

This game is probably a summary about what is wrong (well a portion of it) with Ubisoft in a nutshell. Really great game that never got the attention/support it deserved. Meanwhile all the crap games that Ubisoft kept making over the period when this was released seemed to get all the support and attention under the sun.

Pros:

- 6 Full unique factions set over 3 different time periods (7 if you include the DLC). Play as the British, Americans, Russians, Italians, Germans, and even French in WW2 (Japan is DLC). Select an era, either 1939, 1942 or 1945 and slug it out.
- Fair number of units each with different quirks
- Rather easy to learn and play
- Really is about tactics rather than spam X and/or Y to win. RUSES also can really mess with your opponent and turn the tide of battle. Facing an unstoppable tank rush? Why not deploy a line of Anti-tank guns under radio silence and watch as the enemy blunder helplessly into their killing zone.
- Terrain can matter. Towns and Forests can hide AT Guns, Infantry and AA guns which can devastate any unit with an ambush.
- Some (somewhat) historically accurate units, spread out over eras. Watch Tiger tanks demolish enemy armour when playing a 1942 era match or laugh as everyone fails to do any real damage to your KV-1's in 1939.
- Probably in someways a better game than the spiritual successor, the Wargame Series. Less overreliance on recon units and positive ID on targets equals more fun and less camping.
- Does not require Uplay app to play!

Cons
- Does require a Uplay account though unfortunately.
- No mod support.
- No map editor.
- No navy units.

400 infantry armed with shotguns collided with 400 zombies. Lag and awesomeness ensued.

I beat back Caeser's Roman Legions with Tiger Tanks.

I got to shoot other walking televisions while piloting a walking television. Was good.

Probably worth getting during a sale and worth kind of playing for its online play. Although sadly a bit too dead now.

Pros:

Multiplayer is a lot of fun!
Watching planes getting wrecked to bits
Nicely detailed planes
Action feels kind of up close and personal

Cons:

Singleplayer is boring, I mean really boring and cliche.
DFM feels forced on you in singleplayer and acts more like an annoying gimmick
Sometimes game will crash unexpectedly.
No way to mute people in multiplayer who have "hot mics" Seriously this is extremely annoying. I had a look and found I couldn't even disable my own in settings, had to manually disable my mic!

Things I got to do on Dino Horde:
1) Mech fight with a Stegosaurus
2) Knife fight with a Triceratops
3) Ride a TRex while shooting smaller dinosaurs from it's back

Why is this game rated so damned low?

Be interesting to see what happens if/when modders get ahold of it?
