While the power-ups and tower variety is kinda lacking, the mechanics of linking yours tower to create barriers that can shape the path of the enemy on map and using the destruction of the building to destroy and block the path of the enemy waves are very refreshing mechanics on the tower defence genre.
Overall, it's a really well made game with very well made graphics and I love the Pacific Rim like bosses battles with huge robots.
