Mods were the saving grace of this game.

A few years ago when I bought this game, to put it frankly, it was utter trash.
It was buggy as all hell, there was no loot anywhere, and it was pretty much a running simulator. Don't get me wrong, I still played it quite a bit despite it's numerous flaws, but after a while it got way to obnoxious to play and I stopped.

Recently, however, I've come back to DayZ because of the 'fix' it got and I've got to say, the modded servers are awesome and so much fun. Finally DayZ is actually a playable game.

It may have taken literally years to happen, but the $60 I spent on this game finally paid off.

Amazing game, definetly not for the casual gamer, though.
You need to put a lot of time into CS:GO for the full potential of the game to be unlocked, when you get your first competitive rank it is the best feeling of pride and achievment ever in a game.
