Looking back at this game's story after having digested it for awhile, I have come to a realization. This game is a horrifying artistic illustration of what life can entail if we do not become responsible for our actions.

Seeing your whole world fall apart in the hands of your best friend who is choosing to live in a delusion of being that "hero" is an awesome way to sell a story. That feeling of helplessness, pain, misery, that you objectively did the right thing but at a cost of basically your freedom and will is a hell I can't imagine living through.

Take responsibility

Another remake done perfect.

To Capcom,

You have time and time again shown how to make a proper remake with evidence from RE2 and RE3 even though imo you missed the mark deeply with RE3. RE4 performed so well by turning the franchise into more of an action survival horror shooter all the way thru to RE6 but thats besides the point. You guys have proven to change the formula of the game to make it work.

You guys nailed every aspect of this remake, from the design style, the gameplay loop, and the general tone the game evokes to you. The remakes as of late have been focused on being more gritty and dark which I think is fitting given that way back when these games were first released, they were in fact scary at the time, but, looking back at it now it looks almost comedic to see how different these games looked back then. You guys captured in near perfect detail what my young brain was imagining at the time.

Because of that, you guys have a golden opportunity to remake RE1. I believe its fair to say that you guys earned the chance to really go back to where it all started. I honestly do not care what camera perspective you guys choose if you decide to remake RE1 if you were to go like with what you did with RE2 and RE3 with the third-person over the shoulder perspective but still kept that horror atmosphere well in check. Or maybe do a first-person perspective like with RE7 and RE8, you've demonstrated how to keep that horror aspect very much alive and the gameplay loop fun no matter what you.

Thank you

Fallout New Vegas

One of my most favorite games i ever played in my life and i still do to this day. Before i go into details, note that this review WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS, read at your own will if thats the case.

I overall loved the gameplay and style that this game brought to me; in a post-apocalyptic world where old world technology has faded but still remains. I always thought the old world was just something to look and ignore but after i continued playing this game from start to finish, completing everything, i was wrong. War never changes was the classic quote for this game and i should've looked at that quote a bit more during my playthrough. Seeing all the sights of an old America and the goals of a new one, not much like the Enclave but in a different perspective. I sided with the New California Republic (NCR) for the main questline. I thought that siding with the West and a new path for a better America would be the best option, but i was ignorant. I continued siding with the NCR up to the second battle of The Hoover Dam which decided the fate of The Mojave not just the mojave but a new world. The people that followed the bear wished for a new world, a better America disregarding the ways that the bear treaded along to pave this new world, a new history. Before i participated in the second battle of Hoover Dam i decided to go and start the DLC's; Dead money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and my favorite; Lonesome Road.

Before i dive into the DLC's i would like to point that this next section is gazing at the themes of these DLC's.

Dead Money: Letting Go and beginning again

Have you ever wanted to start new but not let everything go? We all have at some point in our lives and this DLC threw greed, power, and betrayal at me but that wouldnt compose a good theme for this. We all experienced this type of situation but tend to not let everything go, how does clinging on to belongings do anything for us? It still makes us greedy which therefore does nothing to our well being. We can not begin again if we don't let go, we still breath that old dying breath. This DLC was very challenging but well worth the time.

Honest Hearts: Hope and revenge

Blindly following someones orders and being their lapdog is like being imprisoned in a cage where we can't explore our true passions and desires. The Bull and the Bear clinged on to their ways of a new world but no one realized the true history that might unfold and the histories that will be forever thrown away like a useless toy. Thinking that someday there might be a second chance to bring the old world back is almost the same as the theme above, Hope ties into it. Revenge is a strong strong almost irresistible emotion we get in our lives but it can accomplish nothing. My time serving under the Bear and not realizing this gave me alot of realizations of hope and a new world but the time to change was gone.

Old World Blues: A new world with the same philosophies as the old (never letting go)

Same as Dead Money but this DLC showed me what the old world was like and how much of Big MT was responsible for some of the states of the Mojave. We cant begin a new world if we dont let go.

Lonesome Road: Strength and changing history

This is my most favorite DLC in the entire game, well structured and meaningful story as well as a difficult challenge for those not ready to unveil old history. This DLC showed me what being a courier was really like. We walk many roads but our most important road is the one we must walk alone. Having strength and the will to continue on is very important if we want to make history. But changing history is as easy as being a religious idol or the push of a single button. History is not measure by the sheer power of a army but by the will of a single man. Ulysses is my favorite character of this game, he showed me alot. Following the Bear was my road and it was too late for me to go back and begin again so i decided if America was to be awakened again, we had to let go of both powers. I starved the Bear and cornered the Bull and that was my road i shaped for a new world.

I deeply recommend this game to people who want a challenge and a good story.
