Initial Impression at 4hrs: Excellent

Pros:
This early access version is much better than the initial release of the first Forest alpha.
I've had no crashes.
The map is huge.
All the base functions like building, cooking, and surviving, work well and are more than enough to keep a player going.
Combat is enjoyable and almost a replica of the first games style but with some new twists.
The graphics are spectacular, especially the cave features like the flowstone.
No quest lines or objective markers.

Cons:
No hot bar or quick switch option for weapons, gear, or consumables, which forces you to change or use them inside your inventory menu.
The pallisade gate doesn't function/is unbuildable.
The Kelvin A.I will cut down the tree your treehouse is in. (YOU'VE BEEN WARNED LOL)

Its a massive game with a ton of different mechanics that make it feel and play differently with each level you unlock. The fight system is smooth and the A.I's work well. The beginning of the game it seems like an equivalent to Dying Light 1 but once you progress further and enter the larger city the true scale of the world starts to set in and its actually pretty impressive. Right now I'm a little over half way through level 6 and I'm not really sure where I'm at in the story, the best I could tell you is that the main mission is currently for level 4's. There is so much other stuff to find and things to do that the main story really sat in the back ground as I discovered locations and beat side quests.

There are a few different small "guild" quest lines that seem to have at least 10 quests each and are a good way to stay engaged with the various aspects of the game. There's also a ton of general side quests and challenges throughout the world.

The story seems really well choreographed and cohesive with things you will experience in the side missions as well as the faction system.

The only negative thing I could say about that game is that something just feels strange about it graphically. Im not entirely sure how I would describe it but it plays like it was made in an old engine then upscaled to look better? Something like that.

TLDR: Overall its a great game and Id recommend it to anyone.

This is my favorite Halo game in a long while mainly because this one feels the most true to Halo 2 and 3 in the multiplayer game play. However I've reached the end of my battle pass and now I have 0 reason to play the game progression wise. I've considered just playing ranked exclusively but its still just lack luster and dull to do the way their version of ELO is set up. Not to mention the fact that there are really only 4 maps.

My biggest issue though is the pandering of the game to the lowest common denominator.

-There are no exclusive items for being savvy or better than any of your peers.
-The skin unlocks in the campaign are the same for easy mode as they are on legendary.
-XP earned is the same for every match. You dont get anything more than anyone else so progression is more about game time than skill (more about addiction than learning)
-To unlock skins and armor quickly you can just pay for it.
-There is no personal customization of color schemes or equipment. ("You're going to look just like everyone else and you're going to like it.")
-They need a tagged and bagged achievement. (Yeah you know what I mean)

So yeah, its fun, but they want to monetize your life and that means forcing you into a corner and making you pay to get out.

I bought this for the "co-op" but the screen is split vertically instead of horizontally and the menu/build options do not work correctly when both players access it at the same time. Its unplayable at this point for what I bought it for so I dont recommend it right now if you are buying it for local co-op. Will update in the future if any of these issues are addressed.

You shouldnt buy this game, honestly theres not really a point to it. You can spend as much time as you want on it and a hacker is just gonna run through you and your base within a few hours. It used to be ok but the admins dont really care to do anything about the cheaters 90% of the time now unless you get onto their discords or websites and go through this whole big reporting process and for what? Nothing hahah. Go spend your money and time on something else.

Fair warning if you kill a streamer or "influencer" they will have the admins ban you from the server. Also never connect your steam or discord to their websites, they will gain access to every room you are in, friend you have, and everything about you then if you piss them off they will use it against you (good try ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥). Why do you think you cant join rooms with a VPN?

This game took me 92 hours to complete my first play through and that's an epic feat for 2021. It also has a ton of different side missions, weapons, enemy strongholds, etc that you can complete while doing the main story line and that will keep you engaged with your zombie slaying blood lust. Overall I'd give the game a 9/10, The graphics, story, and crafting system are perfect, that one point is only missing because the devs were lazy with the random encounters and I saved the same guy 100 times.

I've always been a huge fan of the Fallout series and have spent countless hours wandering the wastelands. Fallout 4 wasn't my favorite and I actually never completed the game. I put off getting 76 because of the reviews worrying that it would be just another F4 and that was a mistake on my part. In my opinion 76 gets all the things right that F4 got wrong and it feels much more in line with the rest of the series. The online community is awesome and I really enjoy the C.A.M.P and vendor system, some of the things people create are very unique. The Devs do charge alot sometimes for the premium items but it is what it is, if you enjoy the game and think its worth the money then get them and enjoy it, the new brotherhood bundle is $30 but that tower sure is badass. I think that this is offset though by the amount of free currency you can earn just by playing the game and leveling the scoreboard. Even if you spend no money you will still have the opportunity to purchase most premium items.

Overall: Great game, great graphics, great community, and I highly recommend it.

Awesome survival game thats not for the weak. The combat can sometimes seem lacking when it comes to the tribesman, but the point of the game really is crafting, surviving, and the story, not the fighting, and in those aspects Green Hell does an amazing job. I made a point of looking up no locations or spoilers and it made the game 10x more entertaining and I recommend anyone who buys it to go in blind as well!

We have played for about 29 hours now so I thought I would give and updated review.

The story is short but the survival and adventuring aspect definitely holds its own while they continue creating content. I have had zero problems with multiplayer as well so dont let those reviews hold you back. There is a ton of things to create and build in the game that will actually take you a while to do if you try to do all of it. None of the enemies are OP either, some people will argue the spider is OP but honestly once you make the level 1 bow and level 2 ant weapon all you need to do is shoot, block, run, until its dead, and the lady bug armor makes that even easier. There is also a tun of different OS schemes that change the displays for your inventory and crafting to find around the map, I think i have like 15 so far? Still plenty more to find!

Definitely one of my new favorite games. My wife and I got it on both PC's and played for about 6 hours straight! It gives you a real sense of nostalgia while also providing a fairly challenging and fun experience for the survival genre. If you like other survival games in my opinion this is a must have. I cannot wait for more of the game to be released over time, the forest did a great job and they had a ROUGH alpha compared to this, and I think this game has the potential to be 100x better than that. Out of the entire franchise I feel like this was the most story driven Metro. To me the first metro was a run and gun to the end, the second game was a monster slaying joy ride, and this latest one was a ode to the journey. The atmosphere is perfect and the graphics are unbelievable when it comes to the scenery.

Even on hard mode I was able to complete the game fairly easily as long as I continued to consistently scavenge for materials.

I will admit that I was slightly disappointed with the variety of monsters, it seems like the devs were a little lazy here. You expect the creatures to change with the biomes but they don't, and its like they just filled empty spots with mutants. However, each biome does have its own unique "alpha" creature.

The ending was amazing.

Overall its an excellent game that I'm going to end up playing through again and I recommend it for anyone who enjoys metro games or games like Doom, Dead Space, etc.
