I have laughed, I have cried, I was utterly annihilated by Simon. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the best games I’ve ever had the pleasure to play. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is extremely fun, and the story moved me deeply.

It’s so refreshing to see that even in these dystopian video game times, there are studios that create games as art – not games as a service. No FOMO, no battle pass, no NFTs, no in-game store. Every corner of this game is filled with detail and love, complemented by a brilliant soundtrack.

This is Lorien Testard’s first video game soundtrack, and together with the wonderful voice of Alice Duport-Percier, he created something truly unforgettable. All of the songs are fantastic and perfectly accompany the scenes they’re tied to. My personal highlights are Lumière, Une vie à peindre (with Victor Borba), Sirène - Poème d'Amour and We Lost (and I lost a lot — thanks, Simon).
