EVERHOOD 2 IS GOOD FUN

Don't expect anything out of the story lol, just enjoy the ride

It will be better if you go in blind.

That said, Everhood 1 was better. I love this series to death, but the critique about this game is real.

Despite the ripping on this game, I have faith in the devs for whatever they might do next, because I really love their work overall!

Created by Mecha the Slag, creator of Slag Gaming in Team Fortress 2, later renamed to Gears for Breakfast.

You can see where he got inspired to add hats!

I love Microvolts as a game.

I'll keep playing it as long as the servers are still up, because it's nostalgic for me, but I am not going to be spending any money supporting this developer.

I really would like to change my review back to positive!

Sadly, the company that took over this game has fumbled its re-release so badly.

They bought the rights to this game in 2017, around 7 years from the time of this release.

In the re-release, they did one really good thing: They removed all Pay-To-Win aspects of the game.

But they also ####ed everything else up by removing 90% of the content of the game from Microvolts Surge.

Several gamemodes are missing, boss battle mode is gone, several gamemodes they left in are broken (in single-weapon mode you run out of ammo in 2 clips and then get stuck with melee-only), several outfits and items from the shop are missing, several features that existed in the game (such as the low level player servers that were nice so new players don't get ganked by pros) - are all missing or just disabled for no reason.

The devs have mentioned absolutely nothing about why all of the god d#mn good content from Microvolts Surge is missing, after 7 years!

If you look at the steam charts, the playerbase is already on an immediate decline, and for good reason.

Masangsoft is a Korean company, and already there is a lot of trouble with communication between the developers and the players, because none of them really know English.

• The launch gave many of us a very bad first impression.

• The poor communication is giving us an ongoing bad impression

• The current state of the game is giving us an ongoing bad impression

• The expectations we carry because we know what the game already has in its files since Surge in 2017, is giving many veteran players a huge sense of disappointment, because literally they removed lots of fun gamemodes and items from the game, leaving it very barebones and empty, with no explanation as to why.

There is a severe bottleneck on communication between us players and the developer for them to really understand what concerns us.

Perhaps it also contributes to the lack of communication from them, leaving us in the dark about this game's future, only increasing the community's frustration as time goes on.

Others have also noted Masangsoft has a history of buying games, making money off of re-releasing them, and then pretty much abandoning them.

That is just a rumor as far as I'm concerned, I didn't do any research.

But their treatment of this game and its community so far checks out.

Microvolts is a game, which, in my opinion, has every potential to be a great lasting game just like Team Fortress 2.

But every developer that has had its hands on it has poisoned it so badly.

The previous developer was way too full of greed and killed the game with pay-2-win items.

The current developer is way too incompetent... overall.

Damn this game is more difficult than I remembered.

There are a lot of things they need to improve for MV to be the best game it could be...

But in the mean time, come play zombies with us!

MV devs please hire me.

Tower of Fantasy has this small glitch that lets you infinite wallclimb with the double-jump.

god dman is it fun climbing the huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tower in this game

i did that ♥♥♥♥ for a full hour lmfao

the devs are cool with the glitch too, they even had a reward up there for doing it

♥♥♥♥ yeah

also the pvp in this game SUCKS
