If Resident Evil 4 made you feel like an action hero, Requiem is here to remind you that you’re actually just a human trying not to die (Except if you're playing as LEON). As someone who only played RE4 & RE5 last, the transition is jarring... in a good, terrifying way.

The Breakdown
Gameplay (9/10): It trades the "roundhouse kick" energy for pure survival. Resources are tighter than ever. You’ll spend as much time deciding if a fight is worth the single bullet as you will actually shooting.

Graphics (10/10): The lighting is genuinely cruel. The shadows are so deep and the textures so "wet" and grimy that every corner feels like a trap. It’s easily the most beautiful—and repulsive—the series has looked.

Atmosphere: I’ll be honest: I’m scared. The sound design is top-tier; if you hear breathing behind you, it’s not just a sound effect—something is actually there.

Final Thoughts
It’s a masterpiece of dread. It pulls back on the blockbuster action and leans heavily into the "horror" part of survival horror. If you have a heart condition, maybe skip the headphones.

Verdict: 9.5/10. Play it with the lights on.

Let me preface this by saying my brain usually blue-screens when it comes to puzzle games. But Nuggle? It has me in an absolute chokehold.

The greatest triumph of this game is that it completely respects my right to be objectively terrible. It lets you scrape by and finish levels using the most convoluted, spaghetti-logic methods imaginable. It doesn't judge my chaotic, 50-move "strategy"—it just hands me the win and lets me move on.

But then, if you ever start feeling too smart, the game humbles you. Every level has an optional "Goal" move limit that requires actual, legitimate brainpower. Figuring out the intended, clever solution is incredibly satisfying, mostly because it makes you realize how hilariously unhinged your original method was. Throw in the panic-inducing Timed Mode for when you want your heart rate to spike while chasing online Leaderboard glory, and there’s a little something here for every flavor of gamer.

Also, a massive shoutout to Noisy Nit Games. The fact that this is your very first release is wild. You completely knocked it out of the park! It's polished, clever, and genuinely fun. Seriously impressive debut—please keep making games, because I can't wait to see what you do next.

10/10. Will confidently solve a puzzle the completely wrong way again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) – Intense, Stylish, and Addictive

Honestly, I love almost everything about ARC Raiders. The atmosphere, sound design, movement, gunplay, and overall tension are top-notch. Every run feels meaningful, and the world is incredibly immersive. When it hits, it really hits.

My only gripes:
The rats – way more annoying than they should be.
The AI – sometimes feels a bit unfair or inconsistent.

That said, over time I understood the design choices, adjusted my playstyle, and still ended up enjoying the game a lot. The frustration slowly turned into respect for how punishing and tactical the game wants to be.

If you enjoy high-risk, high-reward extraction shooters with strong atmosphere, this is absolutely worth playing.

Great Concept, Rough Execution

Rating: ★★★★☆ (8/10)

Ixiom is one of those games that pulls you in with its atmosphere and mechanics, but also tests your patience. The core gameplay loop is genuinely satisfying — exploration, decision-making, and building your space colony all feel meaningful. The story and visuals are solid too.

However, it’s held back by some frustrating issues. The bugs can get ridiculous, from minor annoyances to progress-blocking glitches that make you question if the devs ever ran a full test. On top of that, resource management isn’t just tough — it’s brutal. Balancing food, alloys, and trust often feels like punishment rather than challenge.

Still, when everything works, Ixiom shines as a deep and immersive management experience. If you can tolerate the rough edges (and maybe save often), it’s absolutely worth your time.

Hades II is nothing short of a masterpiece. Supergiant Games has taken everything that made the first Hades remarkable and elevated it to an entirely new level. From the moment you step into the depths of the Underworld as Melinoë, it becomes clear that this is not just a sequel but a complete evolution of the genre.

The combat is the true centerpiece. It is sharp, fluid, and endlessly satisfying. Every weapon feels unique, from the swift grace of the Sister Blades to the raw power of the staff. The addition of magic and incantations brings a fresh strategic layer, giving players more ways to approach each encounter. Every movement, dodge, and attack feels deliberate and responsive. Few games achieve this level of precision and rhythm in their combat design.

The world itself is a visual marvel. The art direction retains the painterly beauty of the original but expands it with richer colors, deeper shadows, and far more intricate detail. Each new area, from shimmering moonlit forests to the eerie ruins of the Underworld, feels alive. Darren Korb’s music elevates every moment, blending haunting melodies with driving battle themes that make each fight unforgettable.

The story, as expected from Supergiant, is a seamless weave of myth and emotion. The new cast of gods and spirits feels fully realized, each with depth, humor, and personality. The writing is clever and heartfelt, giving you reasons to care not just about victory but about the characters who inhabit this world. Every death, every run, adds new layers to Melinoë’s journey, creating a narrative that grows with the player.

Progression feels perfectly balanced. The new systems for crafting, alchemy, and base-building make every run meaningful. Even a failed attempt rewards you with something useful, encouraging experimentation instead of punishing it. The difficulty curve rewards skill and adaptation, giving both newcomers and veterans room to grow.

Hades II accomplishes what few sequels manage to do. It refines every system, expands its universe, and delivers a deeper and more rewarding experience without losing the soul of the original. It is a game that respects your time, challenges your skill, and rewards your curiosity.

Simply put, Hades II is a masterpiece of design, storytelling, and artistry. It stands as one of the finest action roguelikes ever made and a shining example of how to create a sequel that surpasses its predecessor in every way.

One of the Most Addictive and Well-Designed Roguelikes I’ve Played

I’ve played a fair share of roguelike and strategy games over the years, but The King is Watching stands out as one of the most engaging and well-balanced experiences I’ve had in the genre.

The core gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying, every run feels different, with just enough randomness to keep things fresh without ever feeling unfair. The variety of “kings” you can play as adds a lot of replay value. Each one offers unique abilities and playstyles that genuinely change your approach to strategy. While I personally haven’t warmed up to Saladin yet (possibly because I haven’t explored all his potential), the rest have been a blast to experiment with.

Progression is spot-on. It never feels grindy or like the game is artificially padding playtime. Unlocks and upgrades arrive at a pace that keeps me motivated to push “just one more run.” The balance between challenge and reward is tuned so well that I find myself coming back for multiple sessions in a row without burnout.

I’m genuinely excited to see what future updates bring. More kings, units, and strategic options would only make an already great game even better. Personally, I think adding a “rat” faction or unit type could fit perfectly into the game’s whimsical yet strategic aesthetic, it would open up some fun thematic and tactical possibilities.

As for negatives, I’ve only encountered one technical hiccup, and it was in a very specific scenario: when my Bluetooth mouse disconnected due to a dead battery and I reconnected it mid-game, the game began to stutter and “freeze” intermittently until I minimized and restored the window. It’s a small and rare bug, but worth mentioning in case others run into it.

All in all, The King is Watching is a fantastic blend of roguelike replayability and strategic depth. It’s polished, fun, and easy to lose hours in without realizing. I can’t wait to see where the developers take it next — if they keep expanding it with new content, it could easily become a genre classic.

Rating: ★★★★★ (Highly Recommended)

Titan Quest II – A Worthy Successor with Room to Grow

Hours Played: 6
Recommended: Yes

As a long-time fan of the original Titan Quest, I’m happy to say that Titan Quest II delivers where it matters most and then some.

Pros:
Epic Storytelling: The mythological setting is once again beautifully realized. The narrative feels deeper and more immersive, with compelling voice acting and lore-rich quests that keep you invested.

Stunning Graphics: From the lush landscapes of ancient Greece to dark, moody underworlds, the visual upgrade is significant. Textures are crisp, lighting is dynamic, and the overall atmosphere is breathtaking.

Fluid Combat & Movement: Compared to the first game, TQ2 feels significantly more responsive. Skills chain more naturally, movement is smoother, and animations are tighter, making every fight feel satisfying.

Modernized Systems: Inventory, skill trees, and quest tracking have been polished for modern standards without losing the series' charm.

Dynamic World: Enemy scaling, smarter AI, and environment interactivity make the world feel alive and reactive.

⚠️ Cons:
Stability Issues: I’ve encountered a few crashes, especially during longer sessions. Turning down some settings helped, but optimization still needs work.

Controller Bug: There’s an annoying issue where the mouse cursor goes wild if a controller is connected during launch. Hopefully, this gets patched soon.

Despite these rough edges, Titan Quest II is shaping up to be a stellar ARPG experience. It’s a love letter to fans of the genre and the original game, with enough improvements to feel fresh. Can’t wait to see what future content and expansions bring to the table!

Final Verdict:
If you're a fan of myth, loot, and monsters. This is a journey worth taking.

Review:

RE:Match is like Rocket League’s wild cousin. Chaotic, unpredictable, and absolutely hilarious… but let’s be honest: this game is only fun when you're playing with Emang.

On its own, it's a decent arcade football experience. But when Emang starts yelling at you to rotate, defend, or chase the ball like your life depends on it, the game becomes something else entirely. Suddenly you're not just playing, you're in a high-stakes championship under the command of a football warlord.

No Emang, no fun.
With Emang? Pure, sweaty, screaming, team-based bliss.

10/10, would get benched by him again.

Review:

Just wrapped up Hellslave and had a blast from start to finish.

The storyline is compelling, dark, and atmospheric that really pulled me in. Combat is punchy and satisfying, with a surprising amount of build variety that lets you approach fights in different ways depending on your playstyle. Whether you're going heavy on damage, focusing on survivability, or playing around with debuffs, there's a lot to experiment with.

That said, I do wish the game had more content, especially in terms of story length and areas to explore. Some zones felt like they ended a bit too soon, and I found myself wanting more lore, more bosses, more of everything really.

Still, it's a solid experience and absolutely worth checking out if you're into dark, tactical RPGs. Fingers crossed for a longer, deeper sequel in the future.
