can't you just go over to a neighbor and ask them if you can use their laptop to do it? You'd be surprised how nice some old people are.

I am on Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon currently, and many install media tools dont work, and the one that does "WinUsb" does not like windows 10, so i can't exactly get the windows 10 install/ bootable usb. I may just get windows 8 since i am fairly sure that will work, then up to windows 10 from windows 8, or get the working "windows 10 bootable usb" from a friend of mine ill have to head over to, but thanks for the help man.

You need to have an empty USB and then plug it into the computer. Then simply place the Window's 10 Install Septup into the USB and plug it into the computer you want to reinstall windows 10 on. Reinstalling windows 10 will complete reset your computer. Once you have pluged in the USB to the computer you want to install the OS on. Turn on the computer and use the USB as the drive you wish to open. This should trigger the restart. I think that's how it works. I remember mostly because back when my hard drive crashed.
