This game was so much fun when it first released. It core gunplay is still good, however the lack of content updates had led to a major decline in playerbase causing games to feel quite empty. A large part of the launch experience was the chaos of the fight going on around you, constant explosions, gunfire and vehicles was what made this game fun. The VOIP feature also was the cause of many funny interactions between your teammates/enemies but the VOIP is largely deader than the playerbase at the moment.

In it's current state I just can't recommend the game, particularly for people outside the states like myself. The game still seems to have a somewhat strong playerbase there but in OCE you can only find 1 full server for an hour at peak times. This game was so fun, this is so sad

Ive personally not had too many issues with the performance luckily. It's not a be all end all terrible performance for everyone, though it is likely. I have experienced one crash within the first 5 minutes, but the rest of my 5.4 hours was performance issue free luckily. On a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 3600

I wish I could recommend this game on PC. It's one of the best games ever made, with an excellent story and fun game play this should have been an amazing port from it's original play station version.

Everything about this game IS great, the game is beautiful, you just will barely be able to play the game as it is riddled with performance issues and annoying bugs, and I had it easy in my 23 hours so far, as in 0 crashes so far and technically "playable"(still major frame rate issues on settings I should be able to run on, hell the frame rate would stabilise to 60 after spending some time in a specific area regardless whether i'm on ultra or medium).

I'd recommend this game if it wasn't for this, not to mention the 4 hours of shader compilation I had to sit through.

Buy the game in a few weeks or months, when hopefully consensus is the games issues are fixed.

having now finished the game, more patches have come out and performance has gotten better, however, it is still very poor. I had a total of 1 crash toward the end of the game, but others have had many more. Still would recommend waiting for a while.

it's a cheap game that you'll play for 20 minutes, and honestly those 20 minutes are fairly fun; just a few gripes.

Text on signs in the background can be hard to read while moving
Needs a speed-run timer; would increase replay ability by quite a bit.

but honestly, cute cat.

i got this game in 2014 and played on mobile before then and i still play it is nearly 2017 now. but after defeating moon lord i went on to play with mods but the game is still very fun
